Pyrovisionary Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Pyrovisionary has given me a slight distaste for dual-strike weapons. And I have a distaste for other people having them! Only I shall have the power! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I'm really sorry, Palathadric, I didn't know you wanted them. Perhaps you might want to consider reserving items over PM in future to avoid this kind of disappointment. Whatever happened to character knowledge versus player knowledge. Quote
Scorpiox Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Whatever happened to character knowledge versus player knowledge. Item trading is a valid exception to this rule, I'd say. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 "You only prolong the inevitable!" Intentional General Grievous quote? Can't quite tell; the wording is slightly different. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Item trading is a valid exception to this rule, I'd say. Seems quite convenient. Not to say, I haven't done it before. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Intentional General Grievous quote? Can't quite tell; the wording is slightly different. Nope, I'm pretty sure that phrasing has been used many times in many different mediums. Now one of the earlier statements was based on an Avenger's quote. Quote
Pandora Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That is, HANDS DOWN, my favorite round I've ever run. No one correct me. I don't care if it's wrong. I will plug my ears and sing la la la. I think its all correct, but if it's not... shhh. Just sh. Don't you want that round the way it is? Hmmm..... no. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I want to run a two weapon system with Hoke (Keep Vintul and use the Zoot Plaything, soon, maybe). I want to merge gems in these weapons and optimize their builds based on 3-4 gems each. Base gem for one will be a diamond and the other an amethyst. What would be the best way to split up the gems? Can't seem to find Flipz's guide which would easily answer this questions. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Flipz's post on the subject. Thank you very much! Guess I was using the wrong search terms. Quote
Zepher Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) Sandy, I am SO excited for Falling Stars. It looks so awesome. This is going to be a real harsh battle, I can tell. I hope there are causalities. Even if its just the atuomatons. I'm really liking them already. Edited July 11, 2013 by Zepher Quote
UsernameMDM Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Oh, it's been entirely by PM thus far, don't worry. The main combo should be Amethyst + Opal + Topaz, imbued in that order if you're low on cash. The finished weapon hits 8 of the most common types of enemies for double damage, and is ineffective against only three. Your second weapon should contain a minimum of a Diamond and a Garnet, in that order, in order to super-effective any types immune to your main weapon, and then you add Aquamarine and Emerald in THAT order to the secondary weapon. Alternatively, put either the Aquamarine or the Emerald in a third weapon, though that gets prohibitively expensive when it comes time to upgrade. Are you saying "In that order" for financially effective reasons? Sandy, I am SO excited for Falling Stars. It looks so awesome. This is going to be a real harsh battle, I can tell. I hope there are causalities. Even if its just the atuomatons. I'm really liking them already. And I was really hoping for Hoke to get on this quest. Good luck to the current PCs! Quote
Zepher Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I also wanted Boomingham to go on it, but I'm happy with the party heading out. It just looks so epic already. Quote
Palathadric Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Meh, it seems I'll miss BD's quest again. This will be the one where you'll give Shadeaux reputation, right? Quote
The Legonater Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Are you saying "In that order" for financially effective reasons? I was confused for a few moments as well, but I believe it is intended of the context of someone imbuing one gem at a time. Humanoid enemies occur a lot, and thus it would be more important to have an Amethyst in your weapon than an Opal. Quote

I might...How long is Quest 69 supposed to last? I don't really want to delay Quest 77 any longer, in order to avoid conflicting with being busy in real life on my end. There's still more than a week left to sign up. Quote

Perhaps you might want to consider reserving items over PM in future to avoid this kind of disappointment. No problem I generally prefer to avoid making deals when not in the hall unless somebody is actually wondering whether to buy an item that will not be available later. I also didn't realize JediMasterBrick would have any intentions of selling such an item at such a low price, but all is well. As I said, it'll probably be more effective in your hands anyway. How long is Quest 69 supposed to last? I don't really want to delay Quest 77 any longer, in order to avoid conflicting with being busy in real life on my end. There's still more than a week left to sign up. Well, I kind of imagine we'll have at least one more battle, so I doubt it will be under a week, but it's all good. I love 69 immensely. Quote
Zepher Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I also have to thank Rumble Strike (and all my previous questers who do it... and there are QUITE a few of you) who reference my quests at appropriate times. I promise you, it is one of the most heartwarming parts of this game for me. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I'm just worried about what we will be facing when we have been given 7 extra people as well as our party. I think this is going to be absolute carnage! I also have to thank Rumble Strike (and all my previous questers who do it... and there are QUITE a few of you) who reference my quests at appropriate times. I promise you, it is one of the most heartwarming parts of this game for me. Tarn is nothing without the experiences he's had whilst in Heroica. They shape him into who he is, for better or for worse. I said to you in PM that I love the fact that a lot of this current roleplay and characterisation for Tarn is actually from a failed Quest. Now I know how Guts and Nerwen felt about settling the score with Haroka and Sorona. Quote
Kintobor Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 No love for A Grave Problem? Personally, I'm stoked to see what you have in store Sandy! You did an excellent job with Father McCreary, and I can't wait to see who, or what's behind the empty graves. Quote
