Dannylonglegs Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 No love for A Grave Problem? Speaking of no love, Trade Routes has been open for almost 48 hours now and only Cap't has shown up. Should I reopen Sign-ups? Am I too active even while I don't have consistent access to a computor? Is 3 party members too few to have a functional, active crew? Drake was the only other one who signed up, and I didn't want to host him twice in a row. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
CMP Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Awesome! The next one I think is one of my best so far. Take that how you will. Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Just kill the hooded girl and you should be golden. Funnily enough, she has nothing to do with the events of this quest. Which is not to say killing her now wouldn't solve a huge amount of problems in the future. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

I think I will, but I'm busy right now, so I'll do so later in the evening. If the remaining two haven't shown up by then, I'll repost the sign-ups, to be closed after a roughly 24 hour period, or when I feel like I have enough. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

joeshmoe554 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Also, what is it? If I had to guess, I'd say equal parts Jaegermeister and Blue Curacao, a splash of redbull, and a very small amount of Bacardi 151 which you then light on fire. Quote

Sounds fascinating. 10 gold? I'd say an ale or a light beer is 1 gold, a wine 5+, a mixed drink 5-10? I don't frequent bars, and almost never purchase mixed drinks. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Flipz Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Hey, Doc, I know your Quest would prefer someone who hasn't Quested for the Lion Knights, but I wouldn't lose reputation with the Lions if I went on it, right? I definitely don't want to lose rep with them, since Skirmisher will be my first or second Expert Class. Also, what exactly is the ranking system for the Town Watch? Specifically, what's the next rank above Private? Quote
Sandy Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Also, what exactly is the ranking system for the Town Watch? Specifically, what's the next rank above Private? Since the Town Watch has been portrayed by so many QMs already, there's a whole plethora of ranks. I remember Privates, Constables, Sergeants, Lieutenants, and finally the Captain. So perhaps Constable is the next rank? Quote

I definitely don't want to lose rep with them, since Skirmisher will be my first or second Expert Class. There isn't actually formal 'Lion Knight Rep'. I don't believe any of the Expert Classes other than those of Sandy's basic eight factions can be awarded based on reputation. You've already earned Skirmisher; you can't lose access to it. (Actually, have we ever discussed QMs' ability to take back access to an Expert Class, in the event of something like a hero outright betraying a faction? I don't think so. Sandy?) Quote

I'm still on a quest for now. That's the difficulty with buying stuff for others. It can be difficult to meet at the hall. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I reckon there's been a slight overuse of emotional scarring. I'm sorry but it's true. And sometimes we're doing it for the least scarring of reasons. To be honest, this is from the point of view of a character who suggested that he might have killed someone Karie knew but Sarge is just a gruff, alcoholic maniac. Quote
