Capt.JohnPaul Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 That's perfect! Thanks! Well, Alex? Are you gunna give the girl a 10 gold drink? She's an expensive girl I'll tell you now. I might as well, how could you resist that accent? Quote
Sandy Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 (Actually, have we ever discussed QMs' ability to take back access to an Expert Class, in the event of something like a hero outright betraying a faction? I don't think so. Sandy?) The rules of Expert Classes state that if the hero goes below the "Great" reputation, they will lose access to their respective job class. This of course only applies to the seven "original" expert classes. Quote

Winged Warrior, Skirmisher, Infiltrator, etc. (Not that I plan to do so; I'm just wondering.) Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 "I think you know what I mean, Alexandre." She spoke, with a poifect charisian Accent on Alex's name. Wow, even her narrator is speaking with an accent. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Right, but I meant, is it even possible for a QM to take back access to one of the other Expert Classes? Winged Warrior, Skirmisher, Infiltrator, etc. (Not that I plan to do so; I'm just wondering.) I'm wondering as well. I kind of would like for a person to lose access to Infiltrator as soon as a hero gains Rep with the Wolfgang. On that note, 40 continuation, soon! Quote

On that note, 40 continuation, soon! On the other hand, how could the Town Watch know if someone has Wolfgang reputation? There's already Wolfgang spies among their ranks, after all. Wolfgang rep doesn't affect any of the other reputations, either, since it's not supposed to be common knowledge like the other reputations (speaking strickly in-game sense, we all know who has reputation with whom as players). Brickdoctor Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Different situation, then: What if a player betrayed a faction, and the leaders of the faction in-universe knew about it? Could the QM creator of those leaders and of their Expert Class retract access to the class? Quote

Could the QM creator of those leaders and of their Expert Class retract access to the class? I'd say it's up to the QM who created the job class, since it's such a subjective scenario. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I'd say it's up to the QM who created the job class, since it's such a subjective scenario. Got it. Just wanted to know if we had the ability to do that, since Flipz mentioned losing pseudo-reputation with the Lion Knights. Quote
Flipz Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 There isn't actually formal 'Lion Knight Rep'. I don't believe any of the Expert Classes other than those of Sandy's basic eight factions can be awarded based on reputation. You've already earned Skirmisher; you can't lose access to it. (Actually, have we ever discussed QMs' ability to take back access to an Expert Class, in the event of something like a hero outright betraying a faction? I don't think so. Sandy?) So does this still hold true for Q77? I'm not going to sign up if it means losing Skirmisher, otherwise I will. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 So does this still hold true for Q77? I'm not going to sign up if it means losing Skirmisher, otherwise I will. Yes, you cannot lose Skirmisher in Quest 77. The elves and the Lions might not like each other, but they're not (currently) working against each other. Quote
Flipz Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 So we finally learn why secrets travel so fast in the Hall. Acoustics. Anyway, just need to complete the trade with Elgar, chat up Ellaria (and give Boomers back his Monocle and get my Scroll of Frailty back from him), and sign up for Q77, and then I'll be gone again. If anyone wants to chat me up, now's the time! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 How many battles left in quest 73, Joe? Just I'd love to get a second bit of Shadeux rep. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Placed in spoiler tags in case anyone doesn't want to know. This is the last one. After this , you'll have a lovely trip back to Eubric where you'll exchange the cargo for your payment. Quote

Mama, just killed a man, put a gun against his head pulled my trigger, now he's dead, mama Life had just begun, but now I've gone and thrown it all away Mama, ooo, didn't mean to make you cry If I'm not back again this time tomorrow Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters Had to. Pandora Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 If I had to guess, I'd say equal parts Jaegermeister and Blue Curacao, a splash of redbull, and a very small amount of Bacardi 151 which you then light on fire. I don't think I've ever said what's in them, but they are definitely pink, quite sweet, and highly alcoholic (and thus extremely flammable). They're also served with at least with a cherry on top, hopefully with a small decorative umbrella, and (magically, as it would otherwise melt with the flames) best drunk through a crazy straw. Quote

I'm surprised Miss Pigeon's never heard of it then! That's basically her MO, but in liquid form! I rescind this comment. Obviously the drink is Nyx's MO in liquid form, but that's not to say that Miss Pigeon woudn't get a kick out of them. Maybe she was just lying to Boomingham when she said she hadn't hear of them... ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited July 13, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 (edited) If nobody else signs up for Quest 76, I suppose I'll ask Karie to join-on for the trip, but I'm sort of disappointed by the lack of turn out. Sign-ups will remain open until sometime tomorrow, at which point I'll ask Karie to join. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited July 13, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Endgame Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 This is 73's final battle, so maybe I'll get to go on a DLL quest. Mercy. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Ouch! I was about to say the same thing! It's not good if people mistake you for Drake. This is 73's final battle, so maybe I'll get to go on a DLL quest. Mercy. Yes! I love QM's and their players going on the same quest, and kind of trading places where a new person is QM, and the original is a PC. Quote
