Flare Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 OoC: If a hastened enemy is targeted twice, do they still get a free hit? WBD, hastened enemies get free hits no matter how many people target them (if no one targets them then they have two free hits, though). Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 WBD, hastened enemies get free hits no matter how many people target them (if no one targets them then they have two free hits, though). That's what I was thinking, though logically it doesn't make a ton of sense. Quote
Flare Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 That's what I was thinking, though logically it doesn't make a ton of sense. A lot of things don't logically make sense, but thats why we're not Vulcans I suppose Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 True, yet the point that no one targetting a hastened enemy allows 2 free hits, one targetting a hastened enemy allows 1 free hit, while two people targetting a hastened enemy still does not block all free hits, seems out of sequence. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 The reasoning according to Sandy was that all the hits take place at the same time, similar to how a hero takes multiple Free Hits. So all the heroes' hits take place at the time of one of the enemy's Turns and the enemy has one more left to use for a Free Hit. (Even if the enemy deals Damage to multiple heroes, similar to how heroes can Counterstrike multiple enemies.) My opinion, it could go either way. There're sensible arguments for both sides. Because of the reason above, but on the other hand, these hero attacks aren't taking place at the same time as Free Hits, even though they're treated as such... but, different rules for heroes and enemies, so... Flipz Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I may or may not be online tomorrow, so I'm going to let Legonater run Arthur in my absence if anyone really needs him. Quote

People really are getting addicted to this if they have to alert people that they aren't going to be active for ONE day. You're not even in a quest or anything I think that you might be in need of a slightly longer break Quote

Flipz is making sure he can still go even if he's AFK over the start. Quote

Yep, I'm typing up the initial stats right now. Just taking me a while to format them the way that's easiest for me to handle. (Especially since I use the plain text editor exclusively, I want to make sure that there isn't any unnecessary code in there as a result of the rich text editor.) Quote

PsyKater Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I am so excited. I think this is the first Brickdoctor quest since I read here. Quote
Zepher Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 This is going to be a ton of fun. I'll be in and out today, but I'll confirm the quest and update when I get a chance. (And yes, my stats are super outdated, sorry about that, I'll fix them up shortly. ). Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 (And yes, my stats are super outdated, sorry about that, I'll fix them up shortly. ). Okay. Can you let me know of any changes you make, so I can edit my copy instead of copying and editing yours again? Thanks. Quote
Scorpiox Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Just as a random question: does the creator of the Dualis Sceptres (whomever that may be) have an idea of what the weapons look like, or should I use my imagination? I'm referring to LEGO pieces, by the way. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Dualis Scepters: Club/Staff, WP: 8, Dual-stirking. Two massive scepters wielded by twin Progg Sorcerers Blue Lightning and Red Inferno. From Quest 48. Quote

Endgame Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Brickdoctor ninja'd me. Keep in mind that all pictured Progg Weapons (Including Gladius) are 1:1 scale, so... I hope Haldor can handle the sceptres. Also, why is nobody using Gladius? It's basically a superweapon. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Woohoo, the first Dragoon has arrived. I think Dragoon is the class that has a lot of potential for a lot of cool roleplaying, cool directions to take. Don't mess it up, is what I'm saying. Quote

I'm very interested to see how Swils will roleplay Thormanil discovering his dragon for the first time. Quote
Flipz Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 It'll be interesting to see, that's for sure. I even built a dragon for him (we were originally going to train together), but whether or not it's useable depends on the dragon Sandy creates for him (since my build is too big to be the hatchling).
