How about no one changes the way they play and we all just drop the matter.

Sometimes, it'd be nice if the common sense standard was followed more regularly.

Roleplaying died in this game to me the instant the majority of player characters knew the players aligned themselves with the wolfgang shortly after quest 6. Don't care how the PC's justified it, some lower ranked Wolfgangers squealed (how would they even know), read about it in the library (-_-) or whatever, it was lame. Then much later I believe Haldor ended up blabbing his mouth. gg.

I will rephrase slightly: There are some roleplaying stuff that people choose to do that really bothers me. Immensely. I find some choices by other players selfish and destructive to others. I also encourage people bringing it up. But as soon as it becomes nit-picking and an argument, well, no one will change their stances after that, and that just gets people mad. So I pretend that the stuff that bother me doesn't happen. Boomingham just doesn't see it. :shrug_confused:

So exactly how much damage would Skrall do on a hit to the Jade Kraken since he now favors both aquatic and beast and has a weapon that gives +4 to beasts?

And is imbued with gems that are effective against beasts and aquatic enemies. Not to mention being encouraged. 3168

It's only Aquatic.

...I used the older version, didn't I? :ugh:

:wall: :wall:

There goes the boss battle. Again. :def_shrug:

Don't worry. Ours makes up for it. We abandoned ship once already.

... But under Sylph's leadership we shall burn these wolves to the ground underneath our awesome power! None can oppose Sylph and hope to survive! :sing:

If my math is correct, one hit will deal 3312 damage ((29+11+4+2)*2(Encouraged)*2(Fire)*2(Lightning)*3(Beast Favor)*3(Aquatic Favor))

Is that Kraken supposed to be difficult?

I'd be suprised if the battle lasts more than one round.

What I don't understand though, is why it doesn't have any tentacles? (in the battle)

I'm just wondering now that it has been brought up, is there stuff that I role-play that annoys players? (Not interested in the characters thoughts, just the actual players)

Yeah, I'm like totally annoyed that you didn't allow Pretzel to snoop through your inventory. :hmpf:

He probably has, but I can't recall, at this time, any of Sandy's enemies having arms and legs separate from his/her/its body. :look:

Its just that the specials don't make sense unless the tentacles exist in some way but I don't see them  Also I believe that Sandy said that the dragon was the only fields boss to be alone (therefore the kraken should have some allies to help in the battle against the evil heroes :sing:)

Sure he has, the wyvern battle in quest #14 for instance.

And yes, it does seem strange that the Kraken is such a pushover, if it came with 8 tentacles from the beginning though, then we'd possibly be in trouble.

The only reason I think it doesn't is because if it did have eight tentacles it'd vastly outclass the Obsidian Dragon, but it does make sense logically.

What? You're saying that, despite long posts admittedly being usually good roleplay, they "piss [You] off like nothing else"?

How the does that work? Why does the commitment of some people to this game irritate you? Why is it that you find long, often 'good roleplaying' much more annoying than short, equally good speeches?

Really, the obvious thing to do if you are so averted to the effort of some players is don't bother reading their posts. I admit not trawling through the length of some players' monologues, but going so far to say that the sheer idea of a long soliloquy 'pisses me off' is a unusual step to take. However much you may dislike Walls of Text, there is nothing inherently wrong with them in the right context. I also personally dislike abrupt personality changes that happen for no valid reason, but to say that such events 'piss me off like nothing else' would be offensive to the players who put their time into writing such a thing. Have respect to others in their work, if you will.

It's walls of text that annoy me, I am not saying that in the right context they can't be fine and lovely. But I feel that sometimes they could be a lot shorter. And I feel that good roleplaying could be better if we made our speeches more compact. But I'll be quiet now because it doesn't break the game and I'm being a bit annoyed over a petty matter.

According to my calculations, in Quest 75, after we defeat this huge mob of enemies (thats hoping that we survive ) there are still 20 undefeated stars of destiny. Which means Sandy probably saved the best for last... (you sneaky devil ).
