UsernameMDM Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 This is exactly the kind of posting I don't want to see in this topic. In the future, please use the General Discussion topic to insult each other. Aye aye cap'n! Quote
Endgame Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Today is going to be a busy day for me until about 2 PM, 78ers. I'll confirm and make my purchases then! Quote
Kintobor Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 No rush! Take your time! 78 has a slow start, so there's no rush! I'm hoping to finish the quest within a month, but who knows. We'll see. Quote
Palathadric Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 It's kind of their decision what they want to do with their items. I can't see just about any serious damage-dealing class getting rid of them if they get their hands on them. Quote
Flare Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I can't see just about any serious damage-dealing class getting rid of them if they get their hands on them. The thing is - Fugazi, for example, hasn't done much on heroica recently. What does he care if I use his overkill gloves? I won't steal them or anything Quote
Palathadric Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 "See, they think that just because your average white has a higher alcohol content, means it's a better wine. " Don't you mean "red"? Em shifts uncomfortably. "Had to return order to a cemetary once and deal with a Stealer of Senses twice," he replies. "So no, I haven't really done much." I love Em. Quote
Kintobor Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) I love Em. Part of the reason I choose Em as party leader was to see how Em would deal with being in the spotlight. The quiet, self reserved, humble character is now the one handing out orders and being the focus of the party. This should be fun. Edited July 28, 2013 by Kintobor Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) Don't you mean "red"? Yes, I did. Damn. It's hard to sound pretentious. Aside from that, was the rant convincingly pretentious? "Good point. Nessa, you really shouldn't attempt to associate yourself with these types. You never know what they may inflict you with." Yay! Quest #69! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited July 28, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I don't follow. I thought that was an intentional warning about STDs. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

I'll figure something out. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully. :P Thanks for the opportunity, though; I'm looking forward to it. Quote
Kintobor Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how I'm supposed to do that, too. I'll figure something out. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully. :P Thanks for the opportunity, though; I'm looking forward to it. No problem! If you need a hand, both your party members and myself will be there to help! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how I'm supposed to do that, too. I'll figure something out. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully. :P You can just give ordes without saying much and without saying anything that isn't mechanically, strategically, or statistically necessary. I do it alll the time. (It's even easier if you don't care about roleplaying, by the way. ) Quote
Emjajoas Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 That's what I was thinking, but I don't want to seem lazy. And if I do that, it might give me less of an opportunity to actually flesh out the character, so we'll see where it goes. Quote
JimBee Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 On the subject of support classes (or lack thereof) discussed awhile ago in this topic, I just wanted to mention that Alchemist, Chi Monk, Necromancer, and Minstrel could all qualify as support classes. Three of those have healing abilities, and Alchemist can give items. Regulator, Dragoon, Winged Warrior, Cannoneer, and maybe Infiltrator are the only true offensive Expert Classes in my eyes. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I would like to see a class that can remove negative status effects. Quote
Kintobor Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I have a scroll I'm cooking up that does just that with a nasty add on that's sure to have people squabbling for it. The catch? It's for witches only. Quote
Endgame Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Perhaps someone should introduce an Arc Remedy? Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I would like to see a class that can remove negative status effects. Unless I am mistaken the Druid's 'nurture' removes negative status effects as well as healing. Quote

Palathadric Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Quest #80: Just... yes. I just saw it now. Not sure I support class specific scrolls. Same here. But I'm assuming Kintobor's joking. Quote
Kintobor Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I just saw it now. You have to be a bit of a history buff to get it, but that's why I love it! Same here. But I'm assuming Kintobor's joking. No, I wasn't. However, if people are against it, I can always change it. It won't be for a while now before it pops up, but the idea of the scroll isn't something a virtuous paladin would do. The scroll removes all negative effects afflicted by the user and transfers them to the targeted enemy. I'm thinking of having the ether being 10 for it, but some suggestions would be nice. Quote

I'm also against the specific scrolls, but if you have to then make them for Sorcerers and Necromancers too. Quote
