JimBee Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Do you still need a new pic for Hybros? No, I don't, thank you anyway. Quote
Etzel Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 How does the Ranger Shield (Triple Shot) work when there less then three targets in the battle? Does all of the arrows goes to the only enemies left or only one of them? Edit: After some detective work I found it. All arrows are directed to the remaining targets. e.g. if one enemy is left all the arrows and damage will hit it. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Sandy, it's OK to add a picture to an item that you own that did not have a picture before. For example: Focal Staff (WP: 5) Focus Fire-Roll a 3 for 5 ether, Suitable for clerics and mages. Quote
Jebediahs Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Yes. S'y there was no picture to begin with so you can make it up yourself. Good job. Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Hate to be a party pooper, but is battling using the combat systems aloud in the Hall thread? I'm all fine if you two want to roleplay a fight in the hall, but I think it came up before that we want to save formal battles for quests only. If you do decide to fight using the combat system, why not roll a die yourselves and just be honest in your rolls? Afterall you're not going to gain experience, so there isn't really any reason to cheat. Just to let you know Arthur, there are no cleric available at the hall at the moment as all the active ones are on quests to my knowledge so you may be bruised after the fight for quite awhile:wink: Quote

Ok, well would youl like to roll Flipz? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I think roleplaying fights was also discouraged by Sandy back when the game first started. (what with shuriken-throwing Crusaders, hiding under tables, shooting poisoned arrows into meat and all) Besides, if you just want to play around with the combat system, (since you won't get any XP or loot anyways) you could just PM each other. Sisco Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Battle Order: Hans Tensi Hoke Skrall Dyric Haldor Jess I've been slowly falling to the end of this list for the duration of the battle, WBD! I love Wren's appearances, Zepher. Very well thought out and implemented. Quote

Very well thought out and implemented. I just finished reading Quest 6, and if your current Quest is anything like that one, I can only imagine how awesome it is! BTW, what DID happen to Cronk while he was locked up? And I don't see Zoot stuff in your inventory, what happened to it? EDIT: For clarity, by "your" I mean "the quest you are on". soccerkid6 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 "I am targeting C as his health is low enough for me to kill. With your power and elemental damage, direct your attack to D. That way we have a chance of killing both captains." That is a better plan but Tesni is a Berserker, so she can't switch targets. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 That is a better plan but Tesni is a Berserker, so she can't switch targets. Only when I targeted them in the last round. However, I misread (posting before my morning Coffee often comes back to haunt me) and B fell, C was already there and D was the new Captain. As I have not battled C just yet I can target D due to a strategic suggestion. Unless declaring a target also has to stick, not just engaging them in battle. Sandy? Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Can I just echo everyone else and say that Etzel's sets are absolutely stunning! I love the castle under seige. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 BTW, what DID happen to Cronk while he was locked up? And I don't see Zoot stuff in your inventory, what happened to it? Cronk just had to find an alternate route out of the prison caverns. Zepher ran a side quest in PMs. Unfortunately it's not very easy to copy paste an entire PM thread. Otherwise I'm sure it would have been added to the official quest thread. Cronk did summarize what happened during that time in the Hall when he returned if you want to find it. If you're talking about Zoot's play thing, it became Zoot's Bane. I had given my weapon away because I didn't think I'd be doing any fighting and Flitwick's character only had one throwing weapon. I had to use the Play Thing right away so Cronk had something to bash evil with. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Man, this battle is getting really big! Quote

What happened to that one? Jess obviously didn't keep it... Quote
Khorne Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I really like reading all of the character building that's being done. It's great to watch the characters grow. I especially like Haldor's story. He's so the opposite of Eric. Both are Nords, but Haldor doesn't quite appreciate the conservative (violent) Norse culture/habits while Eric understand no other culture or way of life than that of his own people. Unlike Haldor, who fled his homeland to escape the battle-dominated life there, Eric will try anything to be able to return there. I love it ! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 As soon as I am allowed back in the quest (aka when Etzel replies) you shall all see the big reveal. Who I am, Why I joined Heroica, Eventually what happened to Luc, Why all my text is going to be red, and about a dark secret. One that will haunt Leo forever. And one that will play a big part in the character changes of Leo Aragon! Hope you enjoy it! DarthNihilus, I loved your reveal. So epic. And where I went on Quest 4, that could cause friction between our characters, as I will remain loyal to the Shadeux. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I have never roleplayed before, but I must say that I really enjoy thinking up a backstory for my character, I think I have thought up quite a good one, it is quite epic. Maybe Ill show hints here and there, Also, I enjoy the backstories of the other heroes and the interaction that brings. Keep it up, people! Quote

I also enjoy the contrast between the two characters, and hopefully Eric can have another conversation soon. With Haldor I'm trying to release his story bit by bit, and Haldor's 'guardian angel will react to everyone differently. Depending on who he sees as a possible threat to Haldor. I'm also trying to put accross Darkbane's often wrong idea of who is 'evil', as people like Tesni and De'kra are darker characters. P.S. I'm interested to see what Tesni's sword is doing to her. Keep the character building coming people! Quote
CMP Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I think Hybros has a Zoot's Reaper now. Indeed, the Play Thing was given to him in return for being trapped for half of The Arena quest. Quote
Flipz Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I see. Anyone here who's able to clear up the fight with Alf? I'm pretty sure we're both on autopilot right now. :P Quote
CMP Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I see. Anyone here who's able to clear up the fight with Alf? I'm pretty sure we're both on autopilot right now. :P That's why nobody's really done it. QMs have to do that, and I doubt one can be found on a moment's notice for something that doesn't really affect anything. Quote
