Waterbrick Down Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I had it reverse to one of her teammates because she herself was hexed... and then she mirrored it onto herself again, so I divided her health by 4. Exactly, thus she also attempted to hex herself even though she was already hexed. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 It wouldn't stack, though, would it? It wouldn't stack. Sorry, I thought I read that she had tried to hex the Oculoid with her Special Mirror which wouldn't be possible. Quote
Palathadric Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Standard issue Gladius- Shortsword, SP:4 41 gold. That is supposed to be WP: 4, correct? I'll buy it. OOC:This is for Dragoon. Dragoon? I thought Mizuki would go Winged Warrior. Pretzel should totally be on 74. A chance to side with either a vampire or a greenskin. He would probably bop Cula over the head with his Steak and then run Jenson through with his Flying Cross. That would be one fine day's work. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 That is supposed to be WP: 4, correct? . *Facepalm* Yes, supposed to be WP. Quote
CMP Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 "Better to die stopping a crazed madman than to live having failed to do so." The irony of this statement is hilarious. Quote
Kadabra Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Arasmyth is looking a lot more youthful. I don't know if Pretzel would recognize him, but I'd love the meeting. His facial hair just hasn't had time to grow back in yet. Also, he's Jesus. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Elves.. don't... have... facial... hair.... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Elves.. don't... have... facial... hair.... Luke does. And while I know that we don't have to copy Tolkien in everything, considering that his work is basis for pretty much the entire popular concept of fantasy elves, it's worth pointing out that Cirdan had a beard as do a couple other named elves. (Although on the other hand, that was typically a feature of the extremely old elves; I don't believe Arasmyth is that old, right?) Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Nope. If you are an elf and you have facial hair, either not both your parents were elves, or you use fake facial hair. Simple as that. Quote
Flipz Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Elves.. don't... have... facial... hair.... "There...are...four...lights!" Quote
Kadabra Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 I've always had elves capable of growing facial hair in my head-canon. But it is considered scruffy and un-beautiful to do so, so until they've reached an age at which point they no longer are looking for love, they can forget about shaving if they feel like it. Arasmyth grew his out on purpose so as to make himself look older and wiser. Quote
Sandy Posted August 20, 2013 Author Posted August 20, 2013 Elves.. don't... have... facial... hair.... Fabian also has facial hair, but I don't think he's a pure-blooded elf anyway. As for Arasmyth, he must have a dwarven ancestor to grow that long, bushy beard. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) Zepher, if you want me to do a specific thing, and there are not that many options, just say so. I´m probably blind and not seeing it, but I think we both get it all to a close sooner rather than later, right? It´s not an exploratory/roleplaying quest if you can´t do jack. Zepher Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Well, actually, BD locked the door, not me. I don't care about how you guys get your objectives done, but I'm not going to make it MORE easy on you guys. You can go join any of the other parties in what they're doing. Daneeka will enter the room shortly as well, remember he has always entered at 7:10 with Madame Ladybug. Quote
Flipz Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 OOC: Thugee should be bleeding. Actually, shouldn't ALL the enemies be Bleeding? As far as I know, AoE physical attacks still transfer their effects to all enemies that aren't immune. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Nope. If you are an elf and you have facial hair, either not both your parents were elves, or you use fake facial hair. Simple as that. Why not? Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) Why not? Because in Post-Tolkein literature that's how they are most commonly portrayed. It's not a rule... merely an accepted guideline. But that doesn't mean we can mess around with it. I imagine certain types of elves living in different areas and habitats having developed different characteristics; I.e the Brobic sort being a kind of 'high-elf' with great height, light hair, pointy ears and a hairless face; the ones played by a fair number of heroes based on a 'wood elf' design, sporting darker hair, being shorter and more squat than others .etc Edited August 20, 2013 by Scorpiox Quote

Please don't feel restricted by Tolkien or any other reference material when creating stuff for this game. Is the fleshie skin the only characteristic for the Moon elves or is there any more important ones? I was thinking of maybe portraying the High Cleric of the Paladin Order as a converted moon elf. She was featured shortly in an interlude in Zepher's Chaos in Eubric as a fleshie elf, but will play a bigger role in my next quest. Edit: Lady Luthia, High Cleric of the Paladin Order Quote

Zepher Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 This quest can get done in a week AT MOST if y'all post as much as you have been! I'm right here with ya, and almost done photographing for my next quest (quick easy Hinck v. Shadeaux affair)! Quote

He would probably bop Cula over the head with his Steak and then run Jenson through with his Flying Cross. That would be one fine day's work. Except Jensen has been born and raised in Eubric, and has never done a single crime in his life - if drinking in public is not counted. Why would Pretzel want to murder him?
