Except Jensen has been born and raised in Eubric, and has never done a single crime in his life - if drinking in public is not counted. Why would Pretzel want to murder him? :sceptic:

Well, he's a paladin. And Jensen is an orc.

Which just about sums it up.

Because he´s a racist? There´s no logical rhyme or reason sometimes. :shrug_confused:

Does Eubric have a courthouse? I was just curious since I'm thinking of ideas for potential one offs.

It was established that it does not. The Town Watch performs any and all rulings themselves, which is understandably one of the biggest causes of unhappiness against them. That and the fact that a lot of the guardsman are self righteous and corrupt.

Also I imagine some of the temples do limited rulings, on spiritual and perhaps magical matters, the Paladins for example.

Eubric has no laws, so naturally it cannot have a courthouse.

However, it is not just the Town Watch that's punishing people for ill behaviour. At least the Bonapartes, the Hinckwells, the Shadeaux and the Ji Pei have their personal guards that go after people who have wronged the houses (not that Invision and the Ziegfrieds don't, they just do it personally), and like Scuba said, I imagine religious institutions have their own set of rules and punishments as well. Not to mention the Wolfgang and the rest of the criminal gangs using their power whenever they can.

So despite it being a Free City, it doesn't mean anyone can go around doing anything they want with no consequences.

*huh* Is having green skin not a crime punishable by death to everyone in Eubric?

Which you have yet to run through by me. :poke:

It can't be posted until after Guffington is over, so we've got a bit of time. Do you want a full plot, or just a sketch? I guess BD's probably won't be done in time, so I can send you the whole thing soon.

I haven't really got the time or the inclination at the moment to host any more Quests, but still have some character names/concepts/stories so if anyone wants to host but is struggling to come up with ideas, I have several. I'm not really sure why there haven't been more collaborative Quests, especially as people get to Advanced and Expert classes and the game gets so complicated, unless it's something Sandy has discouraged.

Collaborative in that there are two hosts, or in the sense of Dastan?

I think there are tons of fun ways to breath life into quests we haven't done yet. I think the QM Lounge should get a bit more attention, I actually have a post of questions to encourage QM talking that I keep meaning to write up. Maybe now is the time.

I think that collaborative Quests (in the sense of co-QMing a Quest) would be cool. I know that I have a lot of ideas that I'd love to contribute to the world of Heroica, but I lack the photography or photo editing skills necessary to make QMing feasible, and I imagine I'm not the only one who'd like to QM but can't because of a limited LEGO collection, photography skills, or other reasons that could be solved with a co-QM.

(Speaking of my terrible photography skills: If I could get a half decent pic of Arasmyth from somebody, that'd be great. He uses Eglor's torso from Chima with dark blue arms and yellow hands, these legs, silver Ninjago shoulder armor, Laval's dark blue cape, this head or this head, and this hair in dark brown or black. He holds a longbow and either a Sapphire or a bolt of blue lightning from Castle 2007 or Garmadon's staff in Ninjago. Thanks much!)

I'd love to run quests one day as I like formatting in BBCode (even with the editor) and I think I could be pretty good in rolling the battles. But I have neither time nor ideas to think of a storyline. That's why I can either help rolling battles / running a quest someone else has thought or helping out in the Arena or in the Fields.

I have nothing against collaborative quests, at least if the division of who does what is clear (to avoid any conflicts between the hosts). In fact, there has been a few suggestions about some people collaborating on a quest, but they have all gotten cancelled for some reason.

Fitting together two viewpoints isn't easy, but if for example one is in charge of the story and the other of the game mechanics, then it just might be a match made in heaven.

Sandy, may I point out that sarge has good Bonaparte reputation earned on quest 64, because it's not posted in the heroes gallery.

Sorry, I had no way of knowing, since your host never informed me about it.

Please QMs, if you award your players reputation with a faction in the middle of a quest, mark it clearly at the conclusion as well or PM me about it. I really cannot actively follow every quest that goes on, I just don't have time for that.

This should also apply to me and Brickington :sweet:

Sorry, my bad. I had assumed Alexander's rep was from the quest, so I just thought Sarge's was still coming.

Alexander, Sarge, and Brickington should have all got Bonaparte rep from that quest. Thalion chose not to get any.

The smell in this cell isn't incredibly pleasant, but it's not altogether unpleasant either.

"What an incredible smell you've discovered!"

Brickdoctor, I've been catching up with 77, and I have to say: Quest 77 is gorgeous. I've found the plot much more well-paced, too.

Good news! The third and final second anniversary event - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Downfall of Heroes - is ready to launch tomorrow! I'm so excited to introduce it to this community, as it is a mix of Heroica RPG and Mafia.

Be sure to sign up, everyone - you won't regret it!

Sandy, do the business cards given to Sarge, Jeaux and Heckz count as ingame items?

Not really, as it was just meant as a joke.

You can however have Sarge use it in the future if you find yourself in a suitable situation. It's just a card that has Dr. Cula's name and the guildhouse's adress in it, though.

If we get chosen for Tammos mafia, will we not be able to participate in this?

No, this is not an actual Mafia game. It is part of Heroica RPG, will be posted into this subforum, and will be open to all members of Eurobricks, whether they are playing Heroica, Mafia, football or chequers at the same time.

Oh god! Anything but mafia! *oh2*

What's mafia?
