Zepher Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 44 is well worth the read. Its probably still my favorite quest to read to date. Quote
Endgame Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Zeph, I understand that Watters is literally an assassin who is blue, but for some reason I'm not sure whether or not he's a prodigy. Quote
Zepher Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Haha, I'll clean it up! Its funny, if they had fought him earlier he'd have different attacks - though deflect was actually already interestingly enough part of his skill set. Quote

Endgame Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I was just waiting for the reveal that "By Blue Assassin, I'm an assassin who happens to be blue. Not part of the group, actually." Quote
Kadabra Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 44 is well worth the read. Its probably still my favorite quest to read to date. That was a good read. Now I have to wonder if there's going to be another 'Sandy Plotline' about the nine archdevils and Zoot besides the main plot line about the Wolfgang and houses. (Right now we have Abraxas-Darkness?-Pride Mephistopheles-Ice-Gluttony Marilith-Fire?-Vengeance ???-Lightning-Wrath/Avarice/Sloth/Lust/Envy/Other ???-Earth-Wrath/Avarice/Sloth/Lust/Envy/Other ???-Wind-Wrath/Avarice/Sloth/Lust/Envy/Other ???-Wood-Wrath/Avarice/Sloth/Lust/Envy/Other ???-Water-Wrath/Avarice/Sloth/Lust/Envy/Other Zoot/Azazot?-Light-Wrath/Avarice/Lust/Envy/Other , correct? If Vengeance is one of the two non-7-capital-vices, then it may be safe to assume that Despair is the other as it was one of the Eight Evil Thoughts that contains the other 7 Deadly Sins/Capital Vices. I'm also not sure if Azazot is one of the nine or is above them, but I have him tentatively down for Light.) Quote

Abraxas is indeed the Archdemon of Pride, but his element is lightning. Mephisto, the Archdemon of Gluttony, was ice-elemental, and Marilith, the Archdemon of Wrath, is fire-elemental. An upcoming quest of mine will feature a fourth archdemon, but he doesn't dwell in Eubric. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 What about Lucifuge? Or does fallen/dark angel not equate demon in Heroica? Quote
Sandy Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 What about Lucifuge? Or does fallen/dark angel not equate demon in Heroica? In this game's lore, angels are said to be creations of Ennoc, while demons originate from Azazot. That doesn't mean that all angels are perfectly good, and all demons completely evil. Quote
Endgame Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Random question: Is Lucifuge pronounced Lou-suh-fyooj, as in Centrifuge? I always like to get the pronunciation for all in-game items/people correct. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I vote for pronouncing it as Lucifudge. Quote
Sandy Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 What does it matter how it's pronounced? Nobody is going to say it out loud anyway, we're all just typing the name. But I guess your pronunciation is correct. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucifuge_Rofocale I vote for pronouncing it as Lucifudge. I vote Lucifugay. Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) I vote Lucifugay. I'm going to be thinking L-uh-see-fuh-gee, 'cause I'm a hipster like that. Edited August 26, 2013 by Scorpiox Quote
Flare Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I'll be thinking Loose-uh-foo-jee if anyone cares Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Oh my god I just realized: Thois guy looks so much like sarge.... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 That actually gives me a funny idea, where has your character made unintential cameo's? Since the amount of faces are limited, a lot of characters will have some form of cameo somewhere. Orcs , Ogres and Metasimians excluded, they all look the same. (to me ) Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I know that Haldor's secret twin appeared as a shopkeeper in both WBD's Quest #11, and also in Zepher's Quest #53. No wonder that Haldor felt drawn to that beard like moth to a flame... Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I vote for pronouncing it as Lucifudge. Why not go all the way and call him Lucky Fudge? That's what I'll be thinking every time I read the name. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Because Lucifudge gives me the best mental picture of a devil melting in hell. Because he is made out of fudge. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 And melting in hell isn't very lucky, even for a demon, so that rules out 'Lucky Fudge'. Quote

Zepher Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Boomingham and Shawe are the same, but I don't know if we've shown up elsewhere. I use Guts' face a lot for "common soldiers". I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head. Quote
Endgame Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Masson looks like Guts with hair, although he hasn't done any keelhauling recently. Quote
