Endgame Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Didn't Guts toss some apple thief off of a boat? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Not the same, but potentially, Future Guts: "My friends, I stand before you, to tell a truth most dire. There lurks a traitor in our midst, Who haven't vote a Captain's ire. He don't deserve no mercy, I ought to shoot him with a gun, but I am not an evil man, so first let''s have a little fun. We'll tie the scroundrel to a rope, and throw him overboard, drag him underneath the ship, a terrifying deathly trip..." Quote

Endgame Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Guess I need to brush up on my nautical pirate-esque terms. Yarr. Quote
Etzel Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I love the use of pink and light blue flags for the R'kilf resistance movement, BD! Such subtle references are really fun to see. Quote

Thanks; I was hoping someone would catch that. I couldn't find a suitable crest or insignia for R'kilf, but this color combination was unusual for medieval fantasy and created something distinctive to unite the purposefully-ragtag resistance spearmen, so it worked perfectly. Zepher Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I think it's the colors of Flickr. And yeah, the resistance has a beautiful design. Quote
Chromeknight Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) R'kilf is Flickr? Der me... I'd always thought it was a bastardized bRicKsheLF, to go with brothers brick and mocpages as LEGO sites. Well. If R'klif is getting a new look we've a lot of work cut out to get rid of all the white space on the map. And will we fight the terror-bite? Edited August 26, 2013 by Chromeknight Quote

I think Shelbric is Brickshelf, but I'm not sure if we have had any quests visiting that village yet. I imagine it to be a quite old fashioned village that a lot of people fled from a couple of years ago. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 ...And is prone to being burnt down completely every now and again. And nobody really knows when it might be rebuilt again, exactly, which is why some of the citizens have fled to R'kilf, Mopag, or sometimes to the Galleries in Eubric. Quote
swils Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 This summer just hasn't fleshed out as it was supposed to, so now I'm spending the last few days before I can move back on campus (and have a real internet connection again ) bored out of my mind at the cabin. Being active due to CAT has rekindled a flame for me, so now I'm aching to get back into the Heroica action. I can't wait for current questies to get back and new quests to pop up. I'm eager to bring Arx to life in a quest setting (beyond the traits I've rolled out for him) and to see how he and Thormy get along. Quote

I'm burning up waiting for Quests to be posted apparently we've got a tentative date of November for the next trilogy). Waaaaay back in the library I asked about magic and got a 'if you're interested write about it yourself' type of response. Assuming .i make it compatible with Scuba's short explanation of Ether, would anyone object if I wrote a 'library book' on magic's theory and mechanics? Quote
Jebediahs Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Assuming .i make it compatible with Scuba's short explanation of Ether, would anyone object if I wrote a 'library book' on magic's theory and mechanics? Just do it. If it sucks or doesn't exactly follow what's already been established you can simply roleplay it as the author's theory on the subject. Quote

CMP Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Althior doesn't get along very well with any Witches, does he? Quote
K-Nut Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Althior doesn't get along very well with any Witches, does he? Well, Althior just doesn't like Atramor. The whole personality switch with necromancer made him not like Karie. He would've before he went all emo. Quote
Flipz Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 QM Note: I did? Haha, I'm always contradicting myself when it comes to these mechanical details, aren't I? I think that's somewhere in the definition of "QM". Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 #80- I'd like to thank Scubacarrot for building the set for me! He spent time, effort, and blood, yes, even blood building that for me. I owe you big time, and I thank you. Quote
