Pyrovisionary Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) So then if statistical value < Roleplaying potential would anyone be interested in buying gold rings from Sarge? Edited September 5, 2013 by Pyrovisionary Quote
Kintobor Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Heh, I guess you could say that. I like to think it was 'practical', but Doc's hardly a bad guy to emulate. Oh no, I definitely don't disagree, stats are important, but I'm one of those guys who likes the roleplay items as well. It's why I haven't sold the Heirloom Dagger or used the Spider Coin, because those items have a niche to fill. I still gawk over weapons (just recently the Oculoid Palm), but I think my gawking for roleplay items is bigger than most peoples. Quote
Endgame Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 There is a little bit of roleplaying integrated into the palm, though. (Kudos to whoever knows what game inspired it. ) Next scene up in a little bit, 79ers! You're nearing the end! Quote
UsernameMDM Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 So if anyone in Heroica didn't need another powerful, it would be Tesni. Quote
Palathadric Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 So if anyone in Heroica didn't need another powerful, it would be Tesni. I have no idea how she got so many ultra-powerful weapons. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 And people are afraid Guts will take over. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Yup... Guts getting a good item? Hahahahaaha no. Not happening. ... Quote
Zepher Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I gave you beautiful shoes once. That's all you're ever getting out of me. Quote
CMP Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Maybe if all his stuff wasn't so overpowered already. WP 29 dagger, dancing shoes... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I gave you beautiful shoes once. That's all you're ever getting out of me. Wow. And then teasing me with that tome. You are the worst. Maybe if all his stuff wasn't so overpowered already. WP 29 dagger, dancing shoes... No, a WP 5 dagger upgraded 24 times, and a very conditional item I made the best of... Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Man I love Throlar, sticking it to the elves, it's awesome. Quote
Chromeknight Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Man I love Throlar, sticking it to the elves, it's awesome. Same. Nerwen feels differently though. Quote
Sandy Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 I have no idea how she got so many ultra-powerful weapons. The party leaders have usually been more than happy to give Tesni whatever she wants. She's just got that extra something in her... Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I'm working on a quest as well. Paladin Order focus with Hinckwells reputation for maybe 4 heroes that are okay with few battles and more interacting with NPCs. It will take a while before it's ready to launch though, ETA late September/early October. No, sorry. You have to specifically tailor a quest to help Cronk make it to minstrel... Oh, wait, you did. Thanks! Quote
Kintobor Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Was it ever stated what happened to the Wolfgang general's corpses? I remember Arthur suggesting cremation, but that's it. Quote
Sandy Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Was it ever stated what happened to the Wolfgang general's corpses? I remember Arthur suggesting cremation, but that's it. No, nothing was said about the matter. Why do you ask? Quote
Kintobor Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Oh, just curious. I'm surprised no one's picked up on it yet. Quote
Sandy Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Oh, just curious. I'm surprised no one's picked up on it yet. Maybe no one else is as morbidly interested in corpses as you. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 No, sarge sold their bodies to Dr Cula for money. Just kidding. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Maybe no one else is as morbidly interested in corpses as you. Well, when you said three corpses had been recently put to rest in A Grave Problem, the first thing that came to mind was the three generals. It's just for continuities sake. That and I'm always looking for ideas for Grim Grinning Ghosts 2. Quote

Kintobor Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Either that, or you're making plans to advance into a Necromancer! What? Me? Oh no, it's not like Karie could go off the deep end, halt her progress as minstrel, go necromancer and attempt to resurrect her maggot ridden sister, oh no, of course not! Quote
Flipz Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 "You got any gems that could be of use?" He's got all of them, so the answer is "yes". Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 He's got all of them, so the answer is "yes". Bloody Althior and his gem fetish. Quote
