Duvors Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Actually it's for a quest Idea. And I'll give a phrase related to what I'm planning; Make it Bun Dem I do not want to know what you're talking about. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Just wondering, are there any recreational drugs in Heroica? I've heard of pixie dust, but that's it. Hippocamp tears were mentioned in Quest 11, as an NPC put it, "These Hippocamp tears yer after, ya know those are pretty strong stuff, strongest hallucinogen on the sea they say. The port authorities banned the import of 'em 8 months ago, those things will knock ya out for a week, trust me I've sampled the trial size." Quote
Kintobor Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 If Erdathcath is part tree, does that make her part Fluttershy as well? Quote
Duvors Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 If Erdathcath is part tree, does that make her part Fluttershy as well? Sorry, but that's just too ridiculous. Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 "You know she's not a tree, right?" Quote
Duvors Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 "You know she's not a tree, right?" She's part tree, part elf. Quote
Endgame Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 And with that... 79 is a wrap, folks. Thanks for playing! Quote
Bricksandparts Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 And with that... 79 is a wrap, folks. Thanks for playing! Knew that the regret was behind it all. Hope to get into the finale! Quote
Endgame Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Fun fact: the Regret was the very first chracter to appear in 79. (Look very closely, far left, just above the green flames:) The Oculoid's mannerisms and speech patterns were made to be almost mirrors to The Regret's in 48. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 It could just be me, but I don't see what you are talking about in that picture. Quote
Endgame Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Sometimes it helps to look down at the image. (That, or your monitor's brightness/contrast is different from mine.) Quote
Bricksandparts Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Ahh I see it now. And now can't help but notice it. Even if I had noticed it though, I do not believe that would have been proof enough that the regret was behind the plot. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 That crazy scorpion thing.... Thanks for the Quest, Endy! I had fun! I'll have more of a response for when your done yours, but I had a good time! Quote
Endgame Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I won't be able to do an analysis until Friday Night, so feel free to comment whenever. Hey, The Regret is the most evil of my favorite species I've introduced - making him my Ultimate Big Bad. Quote
Flare Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 (edited) Hippocamp tears were mentioned in Quest 11, as an NPC put it, "These Hippocamp tears yer after, ya know those are pretty strong stuff, strongest hallucinogen on the sea they say. The port authorities banned the import of 'em 8 months ago, those things will knock ya out for a week, trust me I've sampled the trial size." Aye. Besides that, and the three previously mentioned substances, I'm not aware of any others introduced. Edited September 20, 2013 by Flare Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Karie grabs a bottle from an adjacent table and places it in Sarge's mouth. "Just keep pounding her into you, you scurvy son of a-" Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 "Nah, I've only killed 50 of those. I'm talking 'bout 100 plus highly trained soldiers, killed over a period of about 50 years." Sarge returns the smile. So Sarge killed his first man at the ripe old age of 4. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 So Sarge killed his first man at the ripe old age of 4. You got children working as powder monkeys in ships right? Well Sarge started out there. So he probably did, yeah. Quote
Duvors Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 So Sarge killed his first man at the ripe old age of 4. He dropped a brick on him by accident. Quote
CMP Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 The Marksman's Monocle and the Ancient Crown are both headwear, Doc, I don't think Sir Kadarphazan (hope I'm spelling that right) can equip both. Quote
Flipz Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 No, I'm pretty sure the Monocle counts as an Accessory--I remember because I had to give up the Lens of Speed-Reading back in Q70 to equip it. Honestly, this is the most fun part of the game for me--equipping other people with my stuff, taking other peoples' great builds and trying to make them utterly broken. Quote
CMP Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 No, I'm pretty sure the Monocle counts as an Accessory--I remember because I had to give up the Lens of Speed-Reading back in Q70 to equip it. It's headwear. Quote
Zepher Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I'm liking 77 right now! Really feels like its picking up. Quote
CMP Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I'm liking 77 right now! Really feels like its picking up. Agreed, I finally feel like I have a clue of what's going on. And Boomingham finally gets to rally up some troops. Where's our rousing inspirational speech and mandatory war story, Zepher? Quote
