Like I said, there will be a PvP arena opening some time in the future that will have rewards for the battles, so please wait for it.

Hey! That was gonna be a Christmas Present!

Considering you're Level 14 and I'm just Level 1 (and most of the challenges will be catered to the high-levels), I'm not expecting a walk in the park. And hey, wouldn't Althior go easier on a fellow Mage? Especially one that managed to take down a Barbarian eight levels higher than him...

Nah, he'll be mad about leaving Alexis.

I'm sorry everyone. :cry_sad: I don't anything right, I always mess up. please excuse me while I go blow my head off. :pir-sing::cannon:

I don't think there can be loot created by anyone other than the current QMs (and then only in their quests) or by Sandy.

And like I said before, you guys could always play your Hall battles over PM. It would make things a lot neater.

That can happen, if someone could just tell me how to invite people into a PM. Is this only some people can do?

Figured, and let me guess, you will receive ranks based on how many people you beat.

I'm not that familiar with the PM'ing system, but there are several ways to have a PM conversation between several members.

First, you can do this when you start an entirely new conversation. You can send your PM to several people, who will then be part of the group that can participate in the conversation.

Second, you can add people to an existing conversation by sending them an invitation. You can do this by going to the existing message and clicking on the 'add' button in the left hand box.

I do believe that the number of people you can send a PM to, or the number of people you can add to a conversation, is connected to post count. However, I'm not entirely sure on this.

Well, Fortunately I just became a Knight (Rank) which now allows me to invite 1 more person. it can only be a 3 person battle in other words.

Yes, apparently it can only be a three person battle in your case. I don't really see why you'd need more than 3 people for a battle, though, as most of the battles would just be one player versus another, no? So in that case, you'd only need two people in the conversation. However, if you would want more people participating in one fight, you could always ask someone with a higher ranking (post count) to start a PM conversation and then add the other players (those who want to battle, of course) to that conversation.

I concur, it takes guts (pun intended) to face down a QM asking for answers when they could easily have you turned into a frog for the remainder of the quest. Not to mention putting role playing before simply being a 'yes' man  Good job on your part too Rumble Strike sticking to simply role playing and argumentation, I would have probably added a cave-in to move the party along by this point.

Heh thanks! It is cool that you went along with it, I think! Guts is the kind of guy that relies on preparation, so he likes to know what he is getting himself in to. He is also very distrustful .

I love the fact that you have been paying attention to the story and have brought up your objections in-character. It would have been interesting to see some of the others agree with you in the thread.

Except it's natural for Dak to defend Sorrow, he's afraid she'll kill him if he doesn't, which she probably would.

DN, that wasn't a criticism of anyone else. Your roleplay was also good! There seems to be a bit of a rift between Dak and the more streetwise Guts. I like that.

I never said that I was offended, I was just giving the reasons why Dak disagreed with Guts. The rift between our characters seems to be growing, though, the farther we get into the mine.

Hmm...looking at the party list for Quest 17...why do I get the feeling we're going to get unwillingly split into two parties, the newbies and the vets? And us newbs are going to have to face the harder foes?:laugh:

Well, after all, you did beat me in a battle.

Trust me, if we do need to be split up, I have teams matched up in a word document already. No need to fear! Kadabra can vouch for me on that!

I love the LEGO Heroica RPG board you made for our Quest, Sandy. It's nice to see the actual game tied in with the online RPG. The black 'fog of war' reminds me of games like Age of Empires/Mythology :classic: . Great Quest so far  .

I concur. It's an interesting idea for sure, and I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten that great loot from the hidden entrance if we had chosen a different path. Decision making in quests.

I was also thinking of Age of Empires with the blacked out boundaries, what we haven't explored.

Ah.

Flipz, you're not taking that on the Quest, right?

No, I just forgot to update my sig. However...that gives me an idea.

De'kra is a really bad Rogue isn't he? Not only does he constantly fail to open lock doors (and be useful in general), but he has no plans to charge Atramor Gibbins should he borrow De'kra's cloak. Even a barbarian knows to charge interest, but does the rogue? No.

Think of it this way, now you can ask Atramor for a favor one day,. Who knows, that might be more profitable.

Hey, I could use my badass lockpicking skills to help you out someday. :sarcasm:

True enough, I just was musing that De'kra is not the best rogue.

Well you are the poster child for Rogues, you are going to be better than the likes of us common rogues. You were the first person to join the topic, and Atramor's introduction actually used pictures. Not to mention your iconic chicken.
