Zepher Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Sandy your figures are without fail beautiful! Quote
Flipz Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Wow, Sandy, I didn't even see those pics at first! (Fail computer, I have to go to lengths to see most pics. ) Any chance someone coulf give me Bricklink links for a parts list for them? Quote
Sandy Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 Thanks for the compliments, guys! I really love minifigs, so I have quite an extensive collection of them now. Any chance someone coulf give me Bricklink links for a parts list for them? There's quite many of them, and they're all mixed and matched from several different minifigs, so you should probably be more specific. Which parts are you interested in? Quote
K-Nut Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Now wait, is Shanxian Ji Pei the blue one on the right or the left? Quote
CMP Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Thanks for the compliments, guys! I really love minifigs, so I have quite an extensive collection of them now. I'll say - I can't build a single one! Quote
Flipz Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the compliments, guys! I really love minifigs, so I have quite an extensive collection of them now. There's quite many of them, and they're all mixed and matched from several different minifigs, so you should probably be more specific. Which parts are you interested in? The Ji Pei and the Wolfgang are a total blank for me (well, except the Ji Pei on the far left--oddly enough, I've gotten all the parts to build him within the exact timeframe that the Heroica RPG has been active ). (I do recognize Ogel's face on Steerpike as well, but not the rest of him). I have most of the Zegfried faces aside from Zelda (where is that from?), but I have no idea where I'd find the clothes (aside from Sprout's stuff on...I believe that's Mabel, right?). I'm also at a loss for Nuitan Shadeaux's face and shirt, Belannotte's hair, Umbra's face, and Noctus' clothing (both shirt and pants). I plan on making a Bricklink order in the relatively near future so I can build all of the major NPCs and as many Heroes as I possibly can (as well as whatever I need for scenes, etc.). EDIT: I'd also love to know where all those shields are from, I've never seen any of them except the Shadeaux emblem, and then only on the "oval" version of the shield. K-Nut Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Hinckwell: Crownies: 07-09 Ziegfrieds: The Harry Potter Durmstrang ship Bonapartes: Black Falcons Guild of Invision: Somewhere from Harry Potter, don't remember where, though. Ji Pei: Actually never a shield, but a flag piece from the chinese subtheme of Orient Expedition Wolfgang: Wolfpack Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Guild of Invision: Somewhere from Harry Potter, don't remember where, though. Durmstrang ship. These all look really good, but where's Dak in the Shadeaux picture? Quote
K-Nut Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Durmstrang ship. I don't think so. I have the shield but not the Durmstrang Ship. Quote
CMP Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 The Invision shield is from KKII, third wave. The one without the jellybean knights. The 'okay' wave. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Chamber of Secrets or KK2 I think. Quote

Scorpiox Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) I your scenes Zepher! The factory is nice, and the random streets scenes are cool! Oh and the families are really nice, Donny there better be grateful we didn't kill him... Edited December 11, 2011 by Scorpiox Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 To answer Flipz question on Steerpike, his hair is from Joshamee Gibbs from Potc. Head is Ogel or the evil wizard from the skeleton wave, regular dark green cape, torso is Snape's from the new line with yellow hands, legs are from some Classic castle you, I'm guessing KK1 Bull Knight's or Avatar firebender legs. The Ziegfrieds are made up of Lockhart's fig from the Chamber of Secrets set only, Series 5 Fitness trainer, castle queen, the one in the middle has Mcgonagalls hair and head, Tamina's torso from PoP, dress is from a statue on Harry Potter. Quote
K-Nut Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I just noticed that Reno Bonaparte, Like Zed Ziegfried, is missing from their family image. I think that means that Reno is dead. Quote
Khorne Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I just noticed that Reno Bonaparte, Like Zed Ziegfried, is missing from their family image. I think that means that Reno is dead. Not necesarily, he could've joined the pirates . Heck, maybe he's even Jolly Roger himself . Quote
K-Nut Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) Tamina's torso from PoP, dress is from a statue on Harry Potter. That's not Tamina's Torso, and I really don't have any idea what torso it is. EDIT: It's Mon Mothma! Clicky! Edited December 11, 2011 by K-nut Quote
Zepher Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Or he's Nemo's twin, and Sandy just rolled them into one in the image. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 The statue dress could also be Professor Trelawney's from Harry Potter. Quote
JimBee Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Question on the Black Knight: If the player chooses to give up health to add power to their strike, and they roll miss, damage, or special damage, do they still lose health, without attacking the enemy? Quote

JimBee Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Sandy said you can choose to do this after the roll, so you'd know by then. But only if you roll hit or critical hit, right? Quote

Zepher Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Just making a little commentary on Character Development. Don't take this a mean way folks, but character development should take place over a spread of time. I feel like characters change so quickly sometimes . Everyone just changes so quickly (I like this person, never mind OR I'm happy go lucky, never mind I'm really cynical and jaded all of a sudden). Or your back story bubbles forward on the first quest. Sure, that's fun, but if we play this game for a while, your character will have no more back story to reveal and they'll be flip-flopping so much as to who they are it won't really read to the others and you'll just have a watery character. Things can change for characters, but maybe justify them better, or make it happen slower? Look at Tesni. This is her THIRD quest with her sword and things are finally really starting to poke through, and she's really starting to change. The time it took her to change is plausible. Same with Dek'ra or Hybros, we saw a glimpse into their pasts, who they are, and that's affecting their actions, but clearly there's more to see and more to learn and the changes are huge, but they're there. Boomingham has a back story, yes, he does, but nothing would make him say it all of a sudden out of the blue, I'm waiting. Sorry, I'm not trying to ruin anyone's fun or step on anyone's feet, I'm just critiquing from a story tellers point of view. Yup, Zepher the old wet rag to kill the fun. sorry guys, just wanted to say it, take it as it is, don't be offended, and consider it if you feel like it! Quote
