Kintobor Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Last I checked, Purpearl, you had 95 gold. With the 25 I lent you, you should still have 20 gold. Unless you went and bought stuff before the amethyst, in which cases, you're okay. Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I'm sorry, JimB, but no. I do plan on hosting another quest after it is done, and you're more than welcome to go on that, but I think for the continuation it is better just to stick with the people that were already on it. Out of curiosity, have you been referring to the party from Quest 23 or 40? Quote

Palathadric Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Now I just remembered that Lifestealer is a dagger. Raider Guts slashing his way through his opponents...with a dagger...and Dancing Shoes. I don't think so. I think Guts would make for an excellent Harlot. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Guts is supposed to be quite ugly, and far from smooth. I don't think he would be. Quote
Palathadric Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Oh, but come on, with the Dancing Shoes and the Dagger! He's already dancing the purse strings away from those he meets and leaving them writhing in agony. Quote
Palathadric Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 >Lady Calaryl vs. Pongcanis Swordsman D — Damage ((20/2)-6=4 Damage) Throlar's Sentinel was up, so there should be no damage taken. Quote
Flipz Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Sandy, why do you offer such a short time period for your sign-ups? The sign-up periods for your Quests seem to be a lot shorter than those for other QMs. (Probably belongs in the QM lounge, but I'm not sure how often you read that topic. ) Quote

There are like twice the number of people signed up for 87 than can be on. It could be closed within a day of putting it up and no one could complain. Quote

The sign-up periods for my quests are usually longer than average, from one to two weeks - and so is the case with this current quest pitch. I don't remember any QM ever wanting their sign-ups to last three or more weeks... And I read all the topics on this forum, it's my duty as the manager. Maybe I miss a question or few every once in a while because of a flood in posts, but I'm doing my best with the time given to me. Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Hey Kintobor, I just noticed, shouldn't Heckz be level 15 after finishing Quest #83? Edited November 2, 2013 by Eric Su Quote
Kintobor Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Yes, he should. Why, is he not? Sorry Eric Su, seems I didn't. Go get your advanced class! Quote

I would, Artisan is the only Expert class that fits Throlar, so unless another chance to get this class is assured, yes, I will complain. Quote

I'm certain Sandy will allow more chances for Artisan, and if not, other QM's will, so instead of complaining, wait and see. You've got another 25+ levels to go until you get there. Throlar has time to evolve and grow, and by that time, Artisan may seem like a terrible choice for an expert class. I didn't see Necromancer possible for Karie at first, but if the stars align in a fashion that allows it, she could. I want to go on certain quests, but can't because I've already enrolled in others. If you fail a quest on purpose and without consent of the other players, nobody will most likely take you on another quest ever again. Just something to consider about... Whether there's another chance to get the Artisan class remains to be seen, but you're certainly not in any hurry, being 24 levels away from it. Quote

Not trying to fail the quest, Throlar has been mulling over his conversation with Nerwen at the beginning of the battle and he is convinced that the Mopag must be gotten out of R'kilf as soon as possible, but you have a perfectly good chance of convincing him to stay on fighting, the idea of failing the quest on purpose never occured to me, you've won yourself a bout in the arena for suggesting I would! Scubacarrot Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Why would there only be one class that can fit a character? That makes little sense. Characters are supposed to (be able to) evolve, else they are just flat setpieces. Also, pro tip, throwing a tantrum will not get you onto any quests sooner or later. Quote

You forget that the people you're playing with and the QMs you're wishing to Quest for are just that: people. If you irritate us with uncooperative behavior and general rudeness, you're not likely to get what you want. Or, to put it more simply: if you make us not want to play with you, we won't. Quote

If Throlar rubs everyone the wrong way then why the Hell do take it out on me, blast it! Take it out on Throlar, he's been asking to be beaten senseless from the moment he wandered into the hall!
