Cryos Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 (edited) Just out of curiosity, people are still making Guild of Invision quests, right? (Even though I have a long way to go till level 30) Edited November 7, 2013 by Cryos Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 There is no Town Watch rep. The creator of the Infiltrator class has never hosted a quest with the class available. Calm yo butts. Quest 40 part deux: electric boogaloo is coming. After that, we'll see. Quote
Dragonfire Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I would like to go onto your quest, I wouldn't mind Ji Pei rep since I have none. I think Purpearl is geared more towards Ziegfrieds or Shadeaux rep too. Agreed. I'd be interested in your quest too. Hopefully it'll be short enough so that we can still goon Baltarok quests... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Just out of curiosity, people are still making Guild of Invision quests, right? (Even though I have a long way to go till level 30) Of course, Quest 82 was the last one I think. There might not be much sense in waiting for one, but I can guarantee you there will be more in the future. The reason by the way infiltrator hasn't been handed over by the way was because there were supposed to be three people that could teach it. They are still busy. However, since a certain side-game we may or may not have had we have the knowledge that there is a fourth infiltrator out there somewhere... I'm just saying. Quote
Palathadric Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 By the way, it's been a while since we've seen Cronk around. It would be great for him to go on the Paladin quest. Quote
CMP Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 By the way, it's been a while since we've seen Cronk around. It would be great for him to go on the Paladin quest. Right, he's a much better fit for the Quest that involves one Paladin and openly turns away orcs from signing up than the one that is completely centered around orcs. Quote
Kintobor Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Agreed. I'd be interested in your quest too. Hopefully it'll be short enough so that we can still goon Baltarok quests... I can't guarantee that we'll be back before the Baltarok trilogy sets off, so sign up at your own discretion. It's longer than Four's Company, but definitely still a short quest. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Not if you're a Dalek! Knowing your building skills I'm certain they'll be fantastic. Thanks mate but I'm going through a bit of a dark age right now so it may take a while. Quote

swils Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Oh, bother. Of course I get a break down here at the conference, but I left my "Arx's Personality" cheat sheet that I rolled back in Fairbanks. Quote
Kintobor Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Is it going to be the 'newbie' quest or the graveyard quest- or both? It's not the graveyard quest, and it's not at all difficult, but you'll be with other, more higher level players Quote

Dragonfire Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 It's not the graveyard quest, and it's not at all difficult, but you'll be with other, more higher level players I'll probably skip it then, if that's OK with you, and try to get on a Baltarok quest. Hopefully I can go on the graveyard/newbie quest after Baltarok is over (if I get picked, that is). Quote

Hopefully I can go on the graveyard/newbie quest after Baltarok is over (if I get picked, that is). No problem. The quest after this might be the followup to "Four's Company", or perhaps another one off. Not sure yet. HOWEVER, the sequel to "Four's Company" will be going up in December if all goes according to plan. And I intend it to be a bit of a "black sheep" so to speak. Quote
Endgame Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 So Atramor is pretty much removed from the quest until the battle's end... minimum. You'll be meeting Jetroix tonight, 81ers! Just have to get my stuff in order. Quote

So... you're giving Sandy permission to hand out the class? I'll keep that in mind for the future, and I might try to throw in a Winged Warrior NPC or two into my Quests as well, just for fun. About those, when are those coming along? Sometime next year perhaps? Quote

Bricksandparts Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Sandy, any idea on length of quest 87? Quote
Sandy Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Sandy, any idea on length of quest 87? I already answered this question yesterday or the day before. I am confident it will end before December, it's not long and it only features one optional battle. Quote
Endgame Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Will there be any Progg quests after 81? Not strictly, no. After 81 and 86, I have one more quest (titled "Six (Thousand) Feet Under") and after that, the grand finale of pretty much every story arc I've started. So, in other words... the end is near. Quote

Endgame Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I really want to go on that finale quest now! It can have anywhere bettwen 10 and 14 heroes, depending on how masochistic I feel. Quote
Sandy Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 It can have anywhere bettwen 10 and 14 heroes, depending on how masochistic I feel. Having hosted such parties in the past, I STRONGLY advice against it. You'll only lose your free time, your sleep and your sanity. Quote
Endgame Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I will be splitting the party up sometimes. My plans on having the quest go faster are: -Split them up sometimes -Have everyone appoint a surrogate (as in, can control their own character in battle if they find themselves unable.) -For less signifigant battles, go by a 12/16 hour rule instead of a 24 hour one. -Appoint 2 party Leaders instead of one -Don't drop nearly as many Smeling Salts. (Juggling 28 actions would be downright painful.) Quote
