Kintobor Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 But Donny Dozenhands is dead...Avalanche has already faced one fake Donny; I sincerely hope there won't be another... I now want a slew of fake Donny Dozenhands showing up. Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I now want a slew of fake Donny Dozenhands showing up. Maybe there's like six of them? A Dozenhands? Quote
Kintobor Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Maybe there's like six of them? A Dozenhands? So there's a dozen Dozenhands? That's twelve. So there are ten more Donny's out there, lurking. Waiting. Quote
Flipz Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Maybe there's like six of them? A Dozenhands? Zpilf used Piercing Attack on Cromeo Nightingale! It's Super Effective! :poke: Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Given that each of them has two hands, you'd only need six to have a dozen hands. But perhaps there's a one handed Master Donny, making up a devil's (bakers or long) dozen.... Quote
Palathadric Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Bluto's family is the least observant family ever. He spies on them like... all the time. Quote
Endgame Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 "Greetings, champions of Heroica!" the Veteran called Copper Fox exclaimed. "Just look what has come of this city: the outer walls are no longer enough, we need walls to separate the citizens from each other. You can take this coming from a former inhabitant of the Hovels, but I believe this is preposterous. Back when I was just a street performer called Jacq Altraite, there was still a sense of compassion and good will left in the city, but all that has gone to the wind now. The poor and the oppressed aren't the threat we should be preparing ourselves against, in any case! Although we argue a lot, that is one thing all of us Veterans can agree on. I believe you met all of us during this quest of yours, didn't you? The Falconer, the Sand Queen, the Valkyrie and the Feathered Serpent all had nothing but good things to say about you. We need more men and women like you in this city. Otherwise all of us will share the fate of those poor souls up there." "The six houses are taking extreme measures to ensure their place. Is that something we can accept for much longer, I ask? And on the other hand, if Heroica rises against the houses, what will become of this city? We need to bring balance back into Eubric, we just don't know how yet." Okay, that one quest photo puts this in a far, far more sinister light. Coppper Fox, you bastard! I'm hoping we get to confront him soonish, at least. Sorrow isn't really someone to just see stuff like that and stay silent. Quote
Darkdragon Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Bluto's family is the least observant family ever. He spies on them like... all the time. They are quite self-absorbed. Quote
Kintobor Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) Sorrow isn't really someone to just see stuff like that and stay silent. Sorrow walks into Karie's apartment, only to find Karie and Masson in the nude. It seems you haven't been noticed in the doorway yet. Sexual activities, ho! So, you staying silent in this scenario, Endgame? Edited November 21, 2013 by Kintobor Quote

Sexual activities, ho! So, you staying silent in this scenario, Endgame? Here is what Sorrow would do: >Write note saying he'll come back later and to lock the door next time. >Quickly shuffle out of the apartment building. >Scream when you're outside of a 20 mile radius. Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Do you think that we will be finished in time for the Baltorak trilogy, CJP? I'd very much like to come along. Totally! Did you distribute the loot already? I haven't checked the quest thread yet. You probably have at most 3 days more at most. Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Copper Fox should be renamed the Copper Wolf. Or maybe just turn the Wolfgang into the Foxgang Quote
The Legonater Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Copper Fox should be renamed the Copper Wolf. Or maybe just turn the Wolfgang into the Foxgang If it's made up of Donny clones, I think it's more of a Fauxgang. Quote

Duvors Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Copper Fox should be renamed the Copper Wolf. Or maybe just turn the Wolfgang into the Foxgang Ahem, am I the only one who remembers that the Veterans have spies in the Wolfgang? I think Sandy mentioned it in the library topic. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 What does the bleeding effect do? It acts like poison as it drains the affected target of HP each round. Quote
CMP Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 It acts like poison as it drains the affected target of HP each round. Generally. The amount of damage it does is dependent on the QMs, who should really put it in the item descriptions. I personally use Scuba's (5 damage, removable by either remedy or being healed to full health). Quote

That's the one that's generally used, I think, just like the Burning effect that people tend to use is Zeph's of 3 damage. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Scuba's amount of 5 is correct. Quote
CMP Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Scuba's amount of 5 is correct. Still, you should probably put it in the item description, since there's no 'correct' way of it. It differs among QMs. Quote

Chromeknight Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Still, you should probably put it in the item description, since there's no 'correct' way of it. It differs among QMs. It should go in the effect. Eg *bleeding* becomes *bleeding 5* meaning 5 damage at end of turn. Similarly *burning* >> *burning 3* And *poisoned* >> *poisoned 1* then badly poisoned simply becomes *poisoned 10* and higher numbers are available for more potent toxins. It also works for positive effects, *blessed* >> *blessed 3* A number can be added to the front of the effect as a timer. Eg. *sealed* >> *3 sealed* And if a cap on hastened/encouraged/lucky is enforced, that's easy to mark *10 Lucky* So. Numbers at the front count down. When an effect is reapplied, the number is overwritten, not added to the count Also, numbers behind are overwritten if from multiple sources. Eg, if Nerwen hits an enemy with a *burning 3* but Atramor comes along with his staff of burninating *burning 6* the 3 from Nerwen is not added to the 6 but discarded. Quote
