How much longer will Elphaba be in the marketplace, Sandy?

Swils: just so you are aware, Haldor has accepted the deal, I just don't want to break the roleplay string unless I have to. :classic:

No worries. I noticed while typing it up that his focus had quite wholly been shifted to Jess.

Oh, and

~Elphaba's Magic Wagon is open at the Marketplace until November the 30th, 2013!~

By the way, apologies to my quest mates for not being around for a number of days now. I was busy and had no internet connectivity over the weekend. Managed to login yesterday, but it cut as soon as I did so. :enough:

It's fine. All that has happened is Heckz being vain, a fight between me and Heckz, and a lot of discussion about the Copper Fox...

Also, isn't climbing buildings and jumping from roof to roof a bit... Drakesque?

I don't think it really is. I think it is completely plausible. For example, when Johon arrived (at the time called Alf), he was an amateur free-runner. I have hinted at this a few times, but no one really seems to notice. He also isn't the most skilled free-runner. That's why I showed his thoughts about why hadn't he just looked for a ladder. I didn't think that having Johon climb a building was un-RP.

I don't think you have to justify your character's actions. If they're good, people will like them, and perhaps praise you for them; if they aren't good, people will not like them, and perhaps give you prompts as to how to write better in the future.

Umm, Heckz didn't even know that book existed during Four's Company. How does Avalanche know he wants it? Is he psychic?

Sorry, my mistake. I thought Heckz had said somewhere in #83 that he wanted it. And yes, Avalanche was trained in the arts of mind control, soothsaying, and other psychic powers by Lysin Festidd, Yeti Psychic Supreme

I'm just kidding. Still.. Wouldn't Eubric mostly be thatch? Again, just joking.

I seriously hope we'll be out of this Quest by the 30th--we just need our loot from the warehouse, and then we can go home.

If not, though, Arthur needs Scrolls of Blindness, Sealing, and Confusion. Leave it until the last minute, though--I'd prefer to buy them myself, so I have a chance to ask Elphaba her opinion of Lady Dala.

How would they know eachother and what's their connection?

Both Witches, and magic shop owners to boot. I imagine they're either old friends or old enemies.

And it's not like picture building and photographing time is holding us back.

It has been two weeks since the final fight of the quest, so hopefully we'll be headed back soon... especially considering that we're pushing five months now...

It seems I need to revise my "universal recommendations" a bit.

IF you have an unimbued weapon, I still recommend Opal/Topaz. HOWEVER, Opal/Ruby synergizes SURPRISINGLY well. In fact, if your weapon comes pre-imbued with a Ruby, there is literally no reason NOT to imbue it with an Opal: you don't gain any additional ineffective types, but you do gain TWO 4x multipliers in exchange for Icy (a rather rare type) turning from a super-effective hit to a neutral hit. (Tensi take note: if you imbue an Opal into Fàelàn, you'll gain a whopping 16x multiplier on Beasts and Plants, and still be able to hit Icy enemies for 4x damage thanks to the weapon itself. )

Additionally, an Aquamarine may be freely used to swap the Fiery and Rock weaknesses of a Ruby for a single weakness to Aquatic. (Again, another good choice for Fàelàn, Tensi, especially since you have Mellt to handle Aquatic foes.)

if you already have a Opal/Topaz weapon and a Garnet weapon, you might consider adding a Ruby and Sapphire (in that order) to the Opal/Topaz weapon. You gain a 4x multiplier on everything but Aquatic and Mechanic, and lose the ineffectiveness to Icy in exchange to ineffectiveness against Fire and Rock (which can be removed by adding an Aquamarine, in exchange for hitting neutral on Aquatic). The biggest drawback is that you hit Mechanic for neutral instead of super-effective damage, and given that Mechanic is still fairly common, it's definitely something to consider. If you go this route, be sure to slap an Emerald on your Garnet weapon at some point, since it'll give you an option for the semi-common Aquatic types you'll now be hitting for neutral.)

Darkdragon, you overpaid Elphaba 40 Gold. Pumpkin Bombs are only 60 Gold apiece, not 80.

Just wondering, with Nur's Fire Amulet equipped and if one is wielding a weapon with a ruby imbued, does that make the attacks doubly powerful to enemies weak to fire, or just give you the regular multiplier against them. I always thought it was the latter, but I'm starting to wonder if it may be the former. :look:

Nope, the former. Tensi needs to buy that thing, if she stuck an Opal on Fàelàn and wore the Fire Amulet, she'd deal an astounding 32x damage (currently 1856 damage on a Hit) to Beasts and Plants, or 128x damage (7424 damage!!!) to Beast/Plants.

Thanks! It's been a while *cough* I mean, you passed the test!

No problem. Should I assume the Party Escort Submission Position?
