Flare Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Ah, thank you. I knew I had seen him before, but then I looked at Bluto in the NPC index and he had a different face. Bluto has that ugly face with the nose Quote
Palathadric Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 We always used to call that face "Butt." Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) Sandy, you signing up for Quests mean you won't be coming to Strivvi? No big deal, but I'm just sayin'. Would have to retake a few pictures, but that's fine. Edited November 29, 2013 by Scubacarrot Quote

Sandy Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 Sandy, you signing up for Quests mean you won't be coming to Strivvi? No big deal, but I'm just sayin'. Would have to retake a few pictures, but that's fine. Well, I didn't even know you were going to host your quest in the near future. It seems like an inopportune time, to me. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Wait, when's Strivvi starting? I've continually said that. After 85 and 77 would be done. Well, whatever. I can host anytime. Communication's difficult, it seems. As is getting a specific five people together... Quote
CMP Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I've continually said that. After 85 and 77 would be done. That's what I thought...I don't think we're super close to finishing Quest 85 though. I think Sandy mentioned three mandatory battles, and I don't think any of them thus far have been so. In any case the Baltarok Trilogy shouldn't take as long as Dastan. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Guess it'll happen after the Baltaroks then. Quote
Zepher Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Getting together all the characters for a quest is near impossible, unfortunately. Hopefully we can figure it out. I've never done a cut scene before. I find them indulgent in general, but Kintober has shown that they can work without being intrusive, and I had the set and the characters kicking around anyway, so I figured why not? I tried to make it work for more than one character, too, even if Boomingham was the only one featured. Quote
Cutcobra Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Bluto has that ugly face with the nose Just like Hestia's. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Blast it Flipz. In and out of the Hall before I can respond. Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 "Ahem. Would you care to conclude our transaction first?" Hoke asks with a raised eyebrow. I thought we had, sorry. Feel free to update your stats. Quote
Flipz Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Blast it Flipz. In and out of the Hall before I can respond. You know where we're going--well, or at least Dyric does. He's taking De'kra to visit Hans and Triad's graves. Benji and Xander can meet us at the edge of the city if they want to complete our transactions. Jess too, when she's ready and it fits into her conversation with Haldor. Quote
Tanma Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I'm not sure what you are planning with the scene, so why don't you start? Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 You know where we're going--well, or at least Dyric does. He's taking De'kra to visit Hans and Triad's graves. I can't remember where Triad is buried, but I know that we held a little ceremony for Hans just outside the temple of Zoot, beneath the hall. Quote
Flipz Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I can't remember where Triad is buried, but I know that we held a little ceremony for Hans just outside the temple of Zoot, beneath the hall. We got teleported outside Eubric with the dead before we buried them. "The heroes stand out on the edges of Eubric. The sun is high in the sky, the air is sweet, time has passed." We made graves for them (even the ones whose bodies we didn't have) after Zepher posted that. Quote
Palathadric Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Flipz, what happened to your avatar? Quote
swils Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Actually managed to make my Elphaba purchase before she left this time around. Rather proud of myself Quote
UsernameMDM Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I thought we had, sorry. Feel free to update your stats. Just didn't see a reply that you handed the Trident over. No worries and thanks! Quote

I think Sandy mentioned three mandatory battles, and I don't think any of them thus far have been so. In any case the Baltarok Trilogy shouldn't take as long as Dastan. I never said three battles. In fact, if you had been extremely lucky going through the desert without igniting any battles, there would've been only one mandatory battle in the quest. But obviously you weren't that lucky. I suspect the quest will last until January at this rate... Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 OOC: I am having some problems with formatting. Anyway, here is some Bionicle backstory for those not in the know. Don't worry though, there is no way he can do holograms in battle. -snip- I hate to interrupt like this, but... why are you just re-telling the Bionicle story and selling it off as De'kra's backstory? Quote
Tanma Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 [sarcasm]Yes, I totally see I misread the situation earlier.[/sarcasm] Look, I am trying to wrap up De'kra's story so I that I can kill him off like you all want so you don't have to deal with him ever again. I heard you all really clear, I get it. But since you want me to kill him, at least let me sign him off. Then you never have to deal with Bionicle again. Deal? Quote

De'kra is inherently not a bad character, and in cases is very interesting to read, such as his conversations with Arthur. There are ways that you can improve how you play him however, the suggestion of which you refuse to accept. You are welcome to do what you like with your character, but as you are clearly unable to accept any criticism of your writing it is probably best to just leave the discussion here. Quote
