Endgame Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 The fact that I'm now the resident redhead means a lot to me. Beat that Haldor! Female redhead. I was going to put "one of" in that sentence, but I figure it'd ruin the alliteration. Heroica still doesn't have any. I use Heroica as a term for the entire game universe, most of the time. Quote
Sandy Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 Heroica still doesn't have any. Except The Dragonlord and the Feathered Serpent. Quote
Endgame Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Except The Dragonlord and the Feathered Serpent. I was under the impression that the Dragonlord was a Dragoon, and the Feathered Serpent a shaman. Quote
Sandy Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 I was under the impression that the Dragonlord was a Dragoon, and the Feathered Serpent a shaman. Sure they were, but that was before they became Veterans. Quote
Kintobor Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Siri stirs. Something falls out of her personage: a bottle of blue perfume, the scent of jasmine oozing out. The smell seemingly awaking her, she staggers up and glares at the heroes with contempt. "Nnnnnrggh... I can't stand you vile things, truly. If my master had allowed me to dip into one ounce of my actual power, instead of forcing me to use this pitiful vessel..." A faint blue shimmer can be seen around Siri's eyes... What was going on here? No... no nononono!!! NOOOOOO!!!!! Quote
Endgame Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 86 and 81 share the same purpose: Tie my first two arcs into the final one. Quote
CMP Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Except The Dragonlord and the Feathered Serpent. Dragonlord's not a Dragoon? So all Smaragdea does anymore is lounge around on a pile of gold? Even Smaug gets up to torch a village every now and again. Quote
Cutcobra Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 If Heckz was in Quest #89 the first thing he would do is too cut Ognar's beard, or burn it if he had a ruby. Heckz always has to make sure he is not around possible parasites. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 86 and 81 share the same purpose: Tie my first two arcs into the final one. This is payback for my not being bothered to read any other quests isn't it. I could learn all that I need to know but then again I can't be bothered. Quote
Endgame Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 This is payback for my not being bothered to read any other quests isn't it. I could learn all that I need to know but then again I can't be bothered. To be perfectly fair, I am afraid to go back to reading 48 as well. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 The gentleman from 77 (Sir... Kardzadaph, I want to say?) and Masson are both Paragons. Both seem like pushovers to me. I mean, Masson, just a younger, worse version of Guts, look at that babyface. Quote
Kintobor Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I mean, Masson, just a younger, worse version of Guts, look at that babyface. That's my babyface you're talking about. Quote
Endgame Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Both seem like pushovers to me. I mean, Masson, just a younger, worse version of Guts, look at that babyface. Unlike Guts, he has managed to keep both his stoic facial features and his hair. I am now very tempted to run an arena battle, Masson VS Guts... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Guts shaves his head. Unlike Guts, he has managed to keep both his stoic facial features and his hair. I am now very tempted to run an arena battle, Masson VS Guts... Guts shaves his head, and, Masson, very stoic: Quote
Endgame Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Hey, how would you feel if your inner monologue was panicking but every single cell in your body was saying "yes"? Quote
JimBee Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 "Sounds like an exciting machine you've got there, this Vibrator or what was it called again. And also, nice roleplaying in the final bit of Marketplace Mystery. Pretzel didn't even acknowledge the orc veteran. Subtle, but a very nice touch. Boo! I figured, but I personally preferred it that other way. An Imp, the word, is a demon, coupled with Hybros' appearance, what does that give the appearance of? The curator probably knows about as little as Hybros does about imps, the world's still a possibility. Sorry you didn't like it though, I was hoping to take advantage of the opportunity of a PC ineteraction to reveal more about imps, since little has been revealed even two and a half years into the game. Flipz Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 QM Note: Umm, be my guest...? Shazam! You now know how Zepher feels in any of his Chaos-themed Quests. I think I've discovered the real reason everyone believes Chaos is evil. It isn't anything to do with dark, forbidden demonic powers...it's the bloody word puzzles. Quote
Endgame Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I feel incredibly tempted to have a word puzzle that translates to "I PREPARED EXPLOSIVE RUNES THIS MORNING." Then, have it, you know, explode. Quote

Flipz Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Dear mother of Abraham Lincoln, that was long. I haven't written a proper Wall of Text in a long time. It's also funny--I managed to get into conversation with the exact right Heroes at the exact right time to tie into all of their storylines at once. Quote
CMP Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Well, it's nice to know good old delusional Arthur is back. Quote
Endgame Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Dear mother of Abraham Lincoln, that was long. I haven't written a proper Wall of Text in a long time. Still fails to beat that Roni/Dini/Hal/Vaygas collab we did. Well, it's nice to know good old delusional Arthur is back. Don't worry, we have Now Wisened And Slowly But Surely Dying Sorrow to put him back on track. Has Sorrow ever struck anyone as ramble-y? I have nothing against walls of text (and do enjoy reading them), I just see Sorrow as someone who doesn't mince words. Quote
Flipz Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Still fails to beat that Roni/Dini/Hal/Vaygas collab we did. That's the trouble with you and Kinto--you manage to multiply the length of conversations exponentially. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) Dear mother of Abraham Lincoln, that was long. I haven't written a proper Wall of Text in a long time. It's also funny--I managed to get into conversation with the exact right Heroes at the exact right time to tie into all of their storylines at once. Damn you! Now I feel obliged to read it. Time that I could spend reading #86 and working some stuff out for #81! Now I've actually read a bit. I think you'll find that chaos is the lack of order. Not, a series of scars in reality. Anyway I get annoyed when people are doing walls of texts and Sarge isn't there to argue drunkenly. Still, I've got the new iPhone 6's voice commands to confuse by speaking in an accent Siri to fight. Edited December 8, 2013 by Pyrovisionary Quote
Scorpiox Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I love how Arthur over-complicates things to the point that they're no longer actually true. Quote
