Technically it was still a colony until just after 1919.

If we're going to go down to the fine detail: Canada became self-governing in 1867, but was still subject to the British laws and budget for many years later. In fact, it wasn't until the revised constitution of 1982 that Canada became completely independent and responsible for itself entirely.

Sorry!

Sorry!

Canada still considers the Quean of England as head of state.

To solve the time zone issue, everyone could move to Australia.

It's usually sunny, we like the Queen speak English (not American) but do also like Americans too. There's plenty of room and all the deadly animals aren't a problem in the cities. If you've got American dollars or British pounds you'll get a good exchange rate.

The only downside is LEGO costs more relative to US/Europe.

Edit:Oh, and we don't mind turkey day because it means good internet specials on LEGO.

Or. New Zealand. It's the same but without the deadly animals and a bit cooler.

Or we could all go to Massachusetts/New England, where the winter is harsh, the summer is decent, and the people are stereotyped as unfriendly.

Does this have anything to do with Heroica anymore? :look:

Timezones on how to synchronize our quest schedules.

That, and Thanksgiving, communist turkeys, royal figureheads, wild animals, Canada, and the sun.

(We have a tendency to go off on a tangent, apparently. :nlush: )

It's in the nature of anyone who plays RPGs to get hopelessly and hilariously off-topic even while there's some sort of giant life-or-death battle between the forces of good and evil going on.

Anyway, I still do think we need an Elphaba-esque merchant for non-magical stuff, like weapons, maybe Bright Polish/Grating Stones, etc.

Brickdoctor's PM chain in CAT comes to mind.

I'd argue amount of off topic hilarity and intensity of current Heroica quests are proportional. :look:

Quoting stuff is different...you can do it in-character and used right it's not off-topic. It's fair game.
