Waterbrick Down Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Yes, for cohesiveness's sake, I wish all characters are minifigs. I'm not opposed to brickbuilt feet or something like that, though. I understand the reasons for not using brick-built characters, but I am considering introducing a Troll bowman. Would this still be acceptable? Quote
JimBee Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 JimBee, haven't complimented it yet, but I absolutely adore your character design. I keep marveling at it and it finally occurred to me that I haven't complimented it to your face yet, so awesome job, he's very cool to look at! Aw, thanks, Zeph. It was originally a design for the Collectible Minifigs contest a few months ago, but I wasn't able to enter it. I was saving my entry in case another competition like it came around, but this game was just the perfect opportunity to use it. I'm glad you like it. Quote
Jabba the Brick Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 (edited) Okay so It's michael here my account lego pinocchio doesn't want to work for me (I think it may have been hacked) and the emails no longer go to me so I made this account. I thought I should say that because I saw that I got into a quest and my heart broke because I really wanted to participate. So sandy could you delete the hero associated with lego pinocchio (Thrain Longbeard) that would be great if you could. I just hope the other members of the quest aren't too angry that I couldn't comment. Ps: Is it possible that I could take my own place in quest one except with this account? EDIT: My account was hacked by the way found out a second ago except its an ex friend of mine who has done it Edited August 21, 2011 by Jabba the Brick Quote

Sorry, I need verification about this. Lego Pinocchio's account is still working, it isn't deleted or anything. And why would you create a whole new character in your new account anyway? Sorry, I cannot do anything until I know you're speaking the truth. Can someone from the staff help me with this, please? I understand the reasons for not using brick-built characters, but I am considering introducing a Troll bowman. Would this still be acceptable? Yes, a big troll is perfectly acceptable as a character, even though I'm used to calling that figure an "ogre". Quote

If it helps, Lego Pinocchio last was active two minutes before Jabba the Brick joined, and they have the same little New Zealand flag in the bottom right area of their avatars.Jabba the Brick, what exactly do you mean by 'hacked'? Jabba the Brick Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 (edited) Jabba the Brick, what exactly do you mean by 'hacked'? Well a friend of mine was on my computer and since I stay logged in, he thought it would be funny if he changed everything and I haven't been able to get the information off of him. I started again because I thought I had been hacked or something, it may sound kind of stupid but I mainly made a new account for this game because I didn't want to miss out, otherwise I would have waited to find out what had happened to my account. I'll ask my friend tomorrow at school if he can tell me what the new password is or if he can change it back for me but i'm sorry for the hassle I really should have thought about this rather than jumping to make a new account. EDIT: I am so sorry for annoying you all with my stupid problems, but I just went on facebook a second ago and my friend decided to give me my password back so I will be on Lego Pinocchio again once I change the password back. Once again I am sorry for wasting your time and you can remove THIS character from the game. I can't apologize enough be back soon bye. Edited August 21, 2011 by Jabba the Brick Quote
Sandy Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 EDIT: Problem solved then. You should get better friends, I reckon. Quote

Sandy Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 The third quest has commenced. Yay for multitasking! The Heroica Hall feels eerily quiet all of a sudden... Quote
Khorne Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 I love the MOCs accompanying the Quest, Sandy. Will you be posting them in the History forum again, when the Quests are finished? Quote
Sandy Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 I love the MOCs accompanying the Quest, Sandy. Will you be posting them in the History forum again, when the Quests are finished? I'm afraid not, since none of them are so far anything else but simple backdrops, and there really isn't anything else to see besides what you see in the pictures. If I build something as substantial as Heroica Hall again, I will consider presenting it in a topic of its own. Thanks for the compliment, anyway! Quote

I thought they were about the size of the Heroica Hall and that other parts of the builds would be unveiled as the Quests moved on. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 I love the presentation of the quests, really excellent work Sandy! Quote
K-Nut Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Sure, Sandy, you give us the weirdest welcome! Quote
Zepher Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Gotta love that Butler Sanderson. Thought I'd add to the compliments you're getting left and right. Quote
Fives Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 I was just on lego.com and found a map of Heroica with details on certain parts of the land. I thought it was useful, so here is a link to the page: http://heroica.lego.com/en-us/BookofLore/map.aspx Quote
Sandy Posted August 21, 2011 Author Posted August 21, 2011 Sorry to leave you hanging, since it's been so fun questing with you for the entire day, but tomorrow's Monday, which means I have to go to work again. I have a morning shift, though, so I'll be back in about 14 hours to catch up with the quests. Quote

No problem.By the way, now that the first battle's over, can we have Lego Pinocchio replaced by an active player not in any quests? I don't think it's fair if he gets XP without playing himself. Besides, he's only been gone twelve hours, which is normal for any member. Don't you think you should give him a chance? Quote

Rufus Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Oh, okay, I thought he was Taking a Break for creating a second account. It is none of your business why he is taking a break, and you'd be wise to remember that. Quote

JimBee Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Off topic, I know, but I just had to. "Hi doggy, do you have anything to tell us?" "Hey, it's Masked Builder, you all know me. Let's go talk to some animals!" Quote
UsernameMDM Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 How are people selected for quests? Updated my player avatar. I had the cellphone shot just as a place holder. Hopefully with this angle I can show the character change as he progresses levels. As soon as he gets picked for a quest... Quote
Sandy Posted August 22, 2011 Author Posted August 22, 2011 How are people selected for quests? Updated my player avatar. I had the cellphone shot just as a place holder. Hopefully with this angle I can show the character change as he progresses levels. As soon as he gets picked for a quest... The host of each quest (aka. the Quest Master) hand-picks the players he or she wants out of everyone who have signed up for the quest. It's really up to the host to decide, but I think most hosts will aim for a well-balanced party of heroes. I noticed your avatar change, and updated the gallery in the Heroica Hall topic accordingly. Now if only it was avatar-sized too (100x100 pixels)... Quote
