Sandy Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 I never got a chance to say this, but those recent enemy designs in Quest 85 are fantastic, Sandy. Aww, thanks! The Sun Elemental and it's counterpart, the Moon Elemental, actually made it into the Fields as new enemies for the harder stages. There were other additions recently, as well, so there's over 130 different enemies to be fought in the Fields now. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 "Captain, say the word and I'll sit between the hotheads for a while!" Is everyone reading Hoke as a hot head, because that is the exact opposite of how I am trying to play him. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Is everyone reading Hoke as a hot head, because that is the exact opposite of how I am trying to play him. Sounds like real-life, different people have different perceptions of us. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Then Hoke should have tried an appeasing strategy instead of sticking to his guns. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Dune Ghoul B + C + E + F + Sand Devil A + B + Sun Elemental - Free Hit vs. Atramor (Atramor: 120 health+25 SP-(38+38+38+38+57+57+55=321/2=161 dmg)=0 health) I believe Atramor would've been Knocked Out before the last hit, so that list hit should have gone against Docken, I think. UsernameMDM Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Then Hoke should have tried an appeasing strategy instead of sticking to his guns. He sticks to his guns, but he is level-headed about it. No forehead veins or gritted teeth, etc. Quote
CMP Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I believe Atramor would've been Knocked Out before the last hit, so that list hit should have gone against Docken, I think. All the attacks stack into a single hit. Quote
Flipz Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 This is probably the slowest Arena battle ever. (Talking about Kinto and my strategy, not your running, WBD. ) Quote
Palathadric Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Can enchants really be a thing in the arena? It's too easy for players to abuse it in there. Not saying Flipz is, but just saying... Quote
CMP Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Can enchants really be a thing in the arena? It's too easy for players to abuse it in there. Not saying Flipz is, but just saying... I'd think it would only last for the duration of the battle. It should, anyway. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) That's what I originally thought too, but then it's a bit cruel to eat up so much ether, as they Mystic Knight could easily run out, although being that it's only the arena, I guess it shouldn't matter tremendously. Waterbrick Down Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I'd think it would only last for the duration of the battle. It should, anyway. If the system is being abused then yes, but I don't think that's case currently. Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 According to the description it lasts for the duration of the battle and does not cost ether. Enhance: The Mystic Knight adds one to their WP for the rest of the battle. Quote
JimBee Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Kinto, sorry to be so nitpicky, but I noticed one more thing in the current battle of 91. When Hybros rolled Shield in Round 2, you didn't add 58 gold from Lupine as well (I steal from every enemy that drops gold = to their level), and you didn't add the gold to my inventory. These are just little things that you'll get used to as a QM eventually. Unfortunately newer QMs don't have things as nice and simple (and sometimes hideously unbalanced) as they once were in this game. You're doing great so far! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 According to the description it lasts for the duration of the battle and does not cost ether. Thanks for the clarification. Quote
Kintobor Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 WBD, I hate to sound as if I'm criticizing your quest so soon, but coming from an outsider, I'm not sure what counts as a legal move in the puzzle you've presented in A Trip to the Circus. I'm trying to figure out the puzzle on my own, and the only rule you've presented is the ship moves forward. Does the ship itself need to stay in the position it's in? And how does it move? Can I go diagonally? Left and right? Does it always move one square forward? I really like the puzzle too, it seems like something the Professor Layton series would throw at someone. I'm just slightly confused, is all. Quote

Kintobor Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Alright, I think I see what your getting at. So if the boat is to turn, it needs to have the scale space to do so? Let me take a crack at this... Quote

Zepher Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 We'll be moving the quest along as soon as CMP gets back online. Quote
