Palathadric Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Or maybe I just horribly overvaluate grating stones. Love me some of them stones. ...a Grating Stone. He quickly uses it on Trollsbane, levelling the club up to WP:7 I can see what Scuba is thinking: Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Do what you want. (because a yeti is free) There are so many grating stones in circulation right now I can't possibly buy them all anyway, so it doesn't matter. Quote
Zepher Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Kintober is always fun to host... if we need an extra hand for Strivvi II.... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) I'd love to host or be hosted by Kintobor at some point. But Strivvi 2: Strivv Harder is full. Edited January 5, 2014 by Scubacarrot Quote
Zepher Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Haha. I know, I just really want all my pals to come along... not that I'm not super excited for the party we have. And with 85 coming to an end, and 91 seeming like a short quest... Quote
Kintobor Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Same feelings here, Scuba. I'll give you Lawrence back shortly, we should be done in a few weeks now that this blasted battle's almost done. Also: no classes tomorrow, and all Mondays from here on out! Yay! Quote
Endgame Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Followed immediately by Strivvi 3: The Strivvying and Strivvi 4: Strivment Day. Guts is definitely someone I'd love to host, though! Unfortunately, after 81, there is only one normal Endgame quest left before finale shenanigans... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Titles that have been considered: Strivvi 2: Electric Boogaloo, Strivvi 2: Revengeance, Strivvi 2: Job Deux, Strivvi 2: Revenge of the Jobs, Strivvi Episode 2: Strivvi strikes back, Strivvi: Back 2 tha hood, among others. Guts is definitely someone I'd love to host, though! Unfortunately, after 81, there is only one normal Endgame quest left before finale shenanigans... Let's be honest, is there really such a thing as a normal Endgame Quest? And I'd love to go on a quest from you at some point, but with these things, no rush. Quote
Endgame Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Less bizzare Endgame quest is more like it, perhaps. My next quest will involve one of these three things: Treasure hunting, intrigue, or giant killer robots. Quote
Kintobor Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Less bizzare Endgame quest is more like it, perhaps. My next quest will involve one of these three things: Treasure hunting, intrigue, or giant killer robots. Endgame, don't even try to fool us. It's treasure hunting, isn't it? Quote
Zepher Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Oh, hosting Guts isn't that much fun. He's just mopey and bald the whole time and doesn't get along with any of the NPCs. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Oh, hosting Guts isn't that much fun. He's just mopey and bald the whole time and doesn't get along with any of the NPCs. He isn't mopey! Bald and prone to engaging in premature fights with NPC's sure, but mopey? Quote
CMP Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 He isn't mopey! Bald and prone to engaging in premature fights with NPC's sure, but mopey? Drunk on power/consumables and obnoxious is a better way to put it. Quote
Endgame Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 If it makes you feel any better, Scuba, half of my NPCs are complete omnicidal bastards. I could hardly blame you if you wanted to pick a fight. Quote
Kintobor Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I just realized Steerpike and Portia were a couple. Mind blown. Quote
Palathadric Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 My next quest will involve one of these three things: Treasure hunting, intrigue, or giant killer robots. Trying to fool us? We all know that it will be about demons and the end of the world as we know it and multiple stage boss fights. Why try to tell us anything different? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Drunk on power/consumables and obnoxious is a better way to put it. You forgot bald. Quote
CMP Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Trying to fool us? We all know that it will be about demons and the end of the world as we know it and multiple stage boss fights. Why try to tell us anything different? The giant killer robots are obviously the bosses. Quote
Endgame Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Trying to fool us? We all know that it will be about demons and the end of the world as we know it and multiple stage boss fights. Why try to tell us anything different? I would like to point out that could still overlap with any of the three themes I pointed out? Quote
CMP Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 You forgot bald. And bald. He only wanted that hat from Quest 82 to look cool and hide it. I just know it. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 And bald. He only wanted that hat from Quest 82 to look cool and hide it. I just know it. Actually because when he goes Alchemist his intimidation stick will become "unsuitable" and no one will take him seriously anymore. So... Same thing. Quote
Endgame Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Actually because when he goes Alchemist his intimidation stick will become "unsuitable" and no one will take him seriously anymore. So... Same thing. Just roleplay intimidation, it might as well be the same thing... The characterisitc doesn't really hold much weight if you aren't intimidating, after all. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Just roleplay intimidation, it might as well be the same thing... The characterisitc doesn't really hold much weight if you aren't intimidating, after all. Look. As it stands NPC's are pretty much obliged to be intimidated. When that is not the case anymore, they will all be like: "Yeah whatever go mix some potions you big bald pansy." I just know it. Quote
Zepher Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) I actually do always take those job traits into consideration when it comes to NPCs. The traits are there, may as well give the people rewards if they're smart enough to use them. But I'm probably biased because I have Diplomacy. Edited January 5, 2014 by Zepher Quote
