Cutcobra Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 (edited) Why this, then? Wouldn't it be better to have her take damage/special damage from one of the books? Sure, losing all her ether would be a bit of a pain, but not as bad as everyone being fragile, or asleep, or minimized. I'd rather everyone have any of those effects, which half of them aren't that bad, than having the most heavy hitting fighter lose her fighting abilities and having to spend an ether core which I'd rather spend on Noel so he can save people. But that's just me. Edited March 22, 2014 by Cutcobra Quote
Palathadric Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Anyone want to do a group FoG sign-up? I would love to go again, although it would be a bit overkill if Docken, Em, and Pretzel were all to go together. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 (edited) And this is why we need to update the arena... at least a little. Edited March 22, 2014 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Flipz Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 And this is why we need to update the arena... at least a little. Yup. On the plus side, I'm pleased by those numbers. Lets me know my own calculations on potential damage output even without elements weren't completely off-base. Quote

Two Wardens, a Paladin, a Necromancer, two Mythril Shields, plus whatever heavy-hitters also sign up — sounds good to me. Quote

Palathadric Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Crap! Namyrra's going to make an undead of me, isn't she? There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of heavy hitters around. Quote
Emjajoas Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Nothing wrong with a little bit of overkill. Quote
Endgame Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I should have a quest for higher levels up before long, if you FOGers are willing to go along. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of heavy hitters around. Quarry's got a WP: 45 staff and the undead, and Bricksandparts is a Barbarian-type. JimB, did you want to go to the Fields? Quote
Palathadric Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Nothing wrong with a little bit of overkill. Especially if you've got Arthur's glove in your equipment list. Quote
Emjajoas Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I'll quest or FOG; I just want to try out my new armour. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I'll quest or FOG; I just want to try out my new armour. No, Warden with SP: 19, we need you on our über-tank team. Plus questing with Pie has convinced me that two Aura-heroes are always safer than just one, both for them and for the rest of the party. Quote
Flipz Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 And reviving someone usually means they are not going to die... Some of us are used to Zepher Quests. Quote
Emjajoas Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 On the topic of FOG, has anybody cleared the fields? Quote
Kintobor Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 On the topic of FOG, has anybody cleared the fields? No, I don't think anyone has. That would take a ridiculously long time, though. Quote
Quarryman Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 On the topic of FOG, has anybody cleared the fields? No. We spent half a year there and still had 8 or so battles remaining when we left, which would probably have taken another two or three months. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Goddammit Kyle Flipz, I can't roleplay losing! Quote

I would, but I think it's my turn to QM. And while me assassinating everything in sight followed my Namyrra raising them after, plus a SP-heavy Knight trio would be something to see, as someone partially in charge of the Fields I guess I should try not to break them. Also I want to go on a real quest! Quote

Awwww...Alright, then...oh, joeshmoe signed up for the Fields; he's an Evoker and he's about the same Level as emjajoas. That makes six, Quarry, Palathadric, Bricksandparts, emjajoas, joeshmoe, and myself. Is that team good with you guys? Quote
