legobodgers Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Does the focal staff restore 5 ether every time you score a hit or can you give up 5 ether for a guaranteed hit? Quote
CMP Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Does the focal staff restore 5 ether every time you score a hit or can you give up 5 ether for a guaranteed hit? The latter, I believe. Quote
Scorpiox Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 (edited) Here's a little teaser for my quest... Recognize anyone? Haldor in armour and after a shave! Nice photography, seems like a good quest. Edited December 18, 2011 by Scorpiox Quote
K-Nut Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Here's a little teaser for my quest... AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 If they ever meet in the hall, Guts will need to have a little chat with Haldor... Quote
Sisco Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Haldor in armour and after a shave! Nice photography, seems like a good quest. I just happened to like that hairpiece with that face. Thanks! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!! Heh. Heh. Heh. I really hope you're back in time to sign up! Quote
Sandy Posted December 18, 2011 Author Posted December 18, 2011 Sandy, does a Phoenix essence also restore full ether? No, it is related to health only. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 A bookish-looking man walks into the hall, and looks at the questboard. "The current sign-ups for quest #21 are:" Benji Carvenhall (Flare) Tarn Valco (Rumble Strike) Lord Lawrence Boomingham (Zepher) Amorith Marvelo (legobodgers) "Ah, but it would seem that all of you are committed to other quests. I shall tell my employers immediately." The man turns to leave, but seems to remember something, and turns around. "Also, I've heard of a certain quest where a 'Crozen Porthiar' was spotted. Quest #5, Cave Sounds, was it? I would like at least one hero from that quest to go on this quest. Please spread the word, heroes, since the hall seems quite empty at the time. Good day." With that, the man turns and leaves. Tarn isn't part of the 3-man Quest#22 party, and was also party leader for Quest#5. Quote
Sisco Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Tarn isn't part of the 3-man Quest#22 party, and was also party leader for Quest#5. Yes, but MDM wants you for his quest. Quote
Zepher Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Bricksandpart, I'd rather wait, just to catch my breath in the hall for a few more days, since we may be inactive in the quest and I'd prefer getting to chat with people while I get the chance. And I never got to say it (though I said a thank you to the QM), but it was great to Quest with all my Quest Mates from Quest 8. Finally, Sanders, Boomingham is waiting in the library for Byblos if you ever get time off from having a real life and running two Quests and answering all the questions in this thread and questing and, you know, all the other awesome stuff you do. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Tarn signed up for that one too because it's based in the area he grew up in. Good for roleplaying potential. Quote
Sandy Posted December 18, 2011 Author Posted December 18, 2011 Finally, Sanders, Boomingham is waiting in the library for Byblos if you ever get time off from having a real life and running two Quests and answering all the questions in this thread and questing and, you know, all the other awesome stuff you do. I saw it, but I've answered several questions about the Orcish Invasion in the Library topic, so if you want even more information about it, you'll have to wait for me to come up with it. So Pandora, what advanced class are you going to test first? Quote
Zepher Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 (edited) Hehe, alright, looks like I need to do some reading! Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missed over, thanks for the heads up. EDIT: What I'm wondering about if there is a rough time-line you had in mind. Boomingham keeps referencing his time in the war, and says he served from 18 until 22, and still was out before the end and the fall of Ennon. Edited December 18, 2011 by Zepher Quote
Pandora Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 So Pandora, what advanced class are you going to test first? Yaaaaaaaaaaays! I've been waiting for this! As one of the original players (and the only one still playing so far ) I really thought I'd be choosing sooner, but I'm happy to be here now. Hmm.... I've been looking at the pictures and the classes for aaaages, but I think I'm only just now making a decision... Quote
UsernameMDM Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Yes, but MDM wants you for his quest. Tarn can go wherever he wants if he changes his mind about the PM he sent me. Up to him. Quote
legobodgers Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) No, it is related to health only. Thanks for clearing that up Sandy. Bricksandparts, I would also like to wait a couple of days Edited December 19, 2011 by legobodgers Quote
Bricksandparts Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Thanks for clearing that up Sandy. Bricksandparts, I would also like to wait a couple of days Ok, the others do too. Quote
legobodgers Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Zepher, what does the baby dragon do and is fates orb a consumable? Quote
Zepher Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 The Baby Dragon is a surprise! And yes, the Orb is a one time use, or else the game would be rather... over. Quote
legobodgers Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Thats what I thought. It is still a very powerful object, especially if in one of the situation where you must kill an enemy in a certain number of rounds. Quote
CMP Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I've just realized how many times Atramor's had to deal with rats. Does he have a block of moldy cheese on him or something? Quote
Dharkan Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I'm really loving Quest 17 so far. All those defending and tactical approach is great fun. :) Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Tarn can go wherever he wants if he changes his mind about the PM he sent me. Up to him. Hi MDM, I'm not messing you around, honest. In terms of roleplay your Quest would be superb for Tarn. He is lucky in that he has two very suitable Quests to be considered for Quote
