Sandy Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Does the loaded die deal sound fair? I wanted it to be expensive and creative I don't want too many of that item around, so even though your way of selling the item seems impossible to actually achieve, I'd like you to only have one Loaded Die in stock. Then if someone really manages to snatch one, they are lucky enough to earn it. Quote
Palathadric Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I don't think it would change much due to you already having a very defensively powerful party, but I would love to be on CMP's quest, so if I get chosen, I will obviously not be able to go with the Fields of Glory team. I'm sure it shouldn't make too much of a difference though. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I'll note I'm working on a one off, so anyone who wants to go on a small three person quest with a curious NPC should stick around the hall. Quote

Kintobor Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 (edited) Shadeaux rep? No, but the quest with Shadeux rep has been green lit. I'm just waiting for Endgame's to ship off and Baltarok to return to run it. Edited March 24, 2014 by Kintobor Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Welp... buying Loaded Die! Given a Nostrum is currently 35 gold in the marketplace, at what price do people think the Loaded Die breaks even? Quote

Palathadric Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Ah, forgot about that. Still I love the gnomish colony...Is there no other healer in the hall at present...of a decent level that is? Quote
JimBee Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Given a Nostrum is currently 35 gold in the marketplace, at what price do people think the Loaded Die breaks even? 1,000 or more. There's also the fact that permanent effects are infinitely better than temporary ones. Quote
Endgame Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I'm hoping to get my current quest (with Shadeaux rep included) up before the week's end. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Here's a (silly I know ) idea. The Loaded Die, like all LEGO parts, crack and break, and therefor cannot be used after extended use. Quote
Flipz Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Flipz, I must commend you for keeping both the Lion Knights story and Wren story alive, even though the storylines themselves have concluded. It's good to hear the whispering ghosts of what we've laid down! Thanks, Zeph. You'll get to see quite a lot more soon, though it looks like I'll have to re-take the avatar photos first--they came out a bit fuzzy, and I want to do this justice. Also: dear god. It's taken me more than two years, but I literally JUST got the joke in Luke's name. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Also: dear god. It's taken me more than two years, but I literally JUST got the joke in Luke's name. What joke? I did note that Luke is in the Bible and is said to have been a doctor, which seemed Cleric-ish to me, so that was why I picked the name out of some list of "Medieval Names that Start with 'L'", but anything other than that is just a coincidence. (Including the fact that he uses Tatooine Luke's legs — I picked those simply because I liked the minifig part combo.) Quote

The pikemen refer to him pretty consistently as "Master Luke"--or at least, they do the few time they address him directly. (It may just be confirmation bias, but in the epic-length post I've been working on most of the day, I have them refer to him that way, if only because it works so well with Admiral Thraune. ) Edited March 25, 2014 by Flipz Quote

Kintobor Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Sol long as it's not "Master of wood, water, and hill", I have no issue. Freaking Tom Bombadil... Quote

-obelix- Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 To anyone reading Thalion's side-quest story in #93: I have never read the actual Rapunzel fairy tale, all the input I had was from my little sister who had watched the new, cartoon version and she said that Rapunzel is a princess and her hair was magical. That's it. Sandy, I am sorry if I was supposed to have Thalion do more then he did; I tried to improvise and the end result turned similar to Hellsings first episode when Seras was taken hostage by the vampire priest. For those that dont know - a link. Nonetheless, it was a great little detour! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Bricksandparts, are you just trying to collect every unique item that ever pops up? Quote
Bricksandparts Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Umm, Kind of in a way, but palathadric actually messaged me about the weapon, considering I have quite a lot of money and a fairly crappy weapon as it is. Quote
