Cutcobra Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Well, all I can say about Spellcasting is burning all the books to prevent more enemies seemed like a good idea on my head... Quote
CMP Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I remember the day when all Rogues had badass lock-picking skills. That's a skill you have to earn now, damn it. Quote
Zepher Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The rolls this battle have been all over the place. Quote
Palathadric Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 "part the seas so we can walk to Dastan and avoid hiring a sailor and ship altogether" Stupid Arthur! If he had thought of this we could have avoided trouble and not used the Hinckwell's favour to get a ship. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Stupid Arthur! If he had thought of this we could have avoided trouble and not used the Hinckwell's favour to get a ship. On the other hand, while we're talking about creative uses of abilities, stupid Pretzel! If he had thought of stretching out his hand over the sea and calling upon God to divide it, you could've avoided trouble and not used the Hinckwell's favor to get a ship. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The rolls this battle have been all over the place. Yes, they have... Quote
Flare Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Yes, they have... These battles are getting quite annoying, even more so because I keep getting KO'd close to the end of the battle and am afraid that I won't get experience Quote
Chromeknight Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) These battles are getting quite annoying, even more so because I keep getting KO'd close to the end of the battle and am afraid that I won't get experience But you've got a 3XP medal, so you haven't missed out overall. I want to go on a Big Bad Doctor quest now. You'll have to let me do this. ...Five months (and more ether cores than Sorrow has ever had fall on him) later, Pretzel catches up with the ship. "So where's the treasure? And why the devil do miracles cost ether!" Quote
Endgame Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Better than Ayla Commerz. (And yes, I do tend to fall back on puns, and no, I am not ashamed of this.) Quote
Palathadric Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Oh Darksten also pays NPC's ? Always great to see. Quote
Endgame Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 This Archmage trait is proving to be the biggest conflict I've had all quest, Sandy. Although, does a QM have to guaruntee their hints are helpful? Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 #93 is the most Ether consuming quest of all time. Quote
Sandy Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 This Archmage trait is proving to be the biggest conflict I've had all quest, Sandy. Although, does a QM have to guaruntee their hints are helpful? How is it a conflict? Do you mean whether to use it or not? You just have to trust your Friendly Neighborhood QM. #93 is the most Ether consuming quest of all time. On purpose. Quote
Zepher Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 On purpose. I love it! I like when other QMs show me how to successfully do something, and draining ether is a great thing to figure out how to do. I'll certainly be stealing some ideas some time! Quote
Endgame Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Kinda wish that the current puzzle didn't require hints, but alas. Quote
Sandy Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Kinda wish that the current puzzle didn't require hints, but alas. It doesn't, but without hints you might be stuck with it for a loooooong time. Quote
Endgame Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Exactly, and at that point, it would not be at all unreasonable for you to start killing offscreen students without warning. I'm just someone who usually doesn't use hint systems, so I try to avoid them. To be kind to other heroes, though... Quote
Flipz Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Endgame, could we get a reminder of who's signed up for 99? Quote
Endgame Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) Wish granted. Not sure why I always struggle with sign-ups, honestly. Especially baffles me this time, since there are some people in the hall (JimButcher, Jebediahs, Masked Builder) I've really wanted to host for ages now. A teaser for 99: That's a weapon... Not meant to be held by a minifigure, though. Edited April 6, 2014 by Endgame Quote

Palathadric Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Oh, so Skrall and Nagure can wield it? I think he meant Hybros. Quote
