Chromeknight Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) What I meant that is that blade is physically larger than a minifigure. Since when has that stopped someone wielding a Big Figing Sword? Edited April 6, 2014 by Chromeknight Quote
Endgame Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Who ever said that was the full weapon, anyway? Quote
Flipz Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Masked is in Baltarok. Also, we haven't seen Jebs in a LONG time... Hybros is probably more interested in Pie's quest, since it fits him well lore-wise. Quote
Endgame Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) ...How did I botch that so badly? I must confess I haven't been following Baltarok besides one quest. Edited April 7, 2014 by Endgame Quote
CMP Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Quest 98 should be up momentariventually. I'm excited to see how this party pans out. I really like the four-person party dynamic for some reason. Quote

Endgame Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) I've been trying to do a more or less "purist" run of Baltarok, only really following one quest. Now we know which one I'm not watching. Edited April 7, 2014 by Endgame Quote

Endgame Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 On pikes, I hope! (otherwise they're no fun.) I'm guessing there is no chance of you finishing before April 11th? Quote
CMP Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I'm guessing there is no chance of you finishing before April 11th? Not even a little, sorry. Think Dastan palace battle. Except instead of a palace there's just more enemies. Quote
Endgame Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 So no finshing within 2014, then. May have to slim down the party number from 4 to 3, then... Quote
JimBee Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Sorry Endgame, I'd love to go on one of your quests sometime, but Pie's theme for this one was too tempting. I haven't been the most up-to-date on Progg quests either, I'm afraid. Quote
Flipz Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 So no finshing within 2014, then. May have to slim down the party number from 4 to 3, then... Could pare it down to one and add lots of NPCs. And hey, then there's more cannon fodder for the finale, Zepher. Oops, did I say Zepher? I meant Endgame. EDIT: Welp. There goes the old continent. Quote
Zepher Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I haven't even begun to finish introducing my cannon fodder yet. Though, unlike the final Wren Quest, not every NPC I've ever created will be in my finale. Some will be spared by simply sitting at home being uninformed. Quote

As opposed to being uniformed, which seems to be a death sentence. ...okay, I'll stop now. Quote
Myrddyn Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 OOC: LDD itself does not allow pieces to be connected "illegally". At least to me, I might add; but then again, I am not very proficient with it... Maybe "illegal" isn't the right word. I mean, if I stick these two pieces together, the diamond piece will fall out if I move it. So I don't think it would work like that. Like you said, doesn't matter, but it would be a shame for you to miss out on solving the puzzle because of something like that. *Evil laugh* "Then all the XP shall be mine!" Quote

Heroes may very well be part of the death count, especially since you are the one who allowed me to justify perma-death, Mr. Flipz. Edited April 7, 2014 by Endgame Quote

Myrddyn Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) #93 is the most Ether consuming quest of all time. On purpose. Taking that into account, I think that was a good challenge. Took 4 days, cost 50 ether, and maybe I'm biased because I got xp from it. And it was a shame half the people didn't have access to the pieces to participate, although I don't think there's anything that could have been done about that. But I quite enjoyed that. Palathadric Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I certainly liked the idea. New and interesting. I have to say that the Baltarok (hope I spelled that right ) quests have been absolutely brilliant. Maybe it's because I'm seeing it form an outside perspective though, but still really, really well thought out I wish I could have gone to kick some orcish butt. Quote

Many thanks to Zepher, CallMePie, and especially Waterbrick Down from Matthias and myself for hosting! It's been a great quest experience to start with here in Heroica.
