Endgame Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) It's a good thing you aren't QMing yourself, Flipz. Edited April 12, 2014 by Endgame Quote
CMP Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 NPCs, arguing once again, CMP. But this time mine are winning. Quote
Flipz Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 It's a good thing you aren't QMing yourself, Flipz. I've had to stop using my own stats in testing battles a long time ago. Also, just delete the consumable categories I just added to my Hero Stats page, they're for my own benefit; this just puts the items in a slightly more logical order. Quote
Endgame Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Also, if you don't do it, I'm erasing those Sticky Gloves from your stats. They have no reason to even still be there. Quote

If Shawe would just hurry the hell up and give me some sweet boots, it wouldn't be an issue. UsernameMDM Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 But this time mine are winning. Proof these quests won't have a peaceful end. Why don't y'all just cut the dialogue to the final unforgivable insults and let's get to it. Quote

You get one more day to verbally beat the crap out of eachother. Then tomorrow you can start using swords and stuff to do it instead. Quote
Flipz Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 The real reason they're fighting: Zepher and Pie can't decide which one gets to be the one who kills off all the NPCs. (There, that almost makes up for the Theatre skit I photographed but can't use anymore because too much changed since then. ) Quote
CMP Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (There, that almost makes up for the Theatre skit I photographed but can't use anymore because too much changed since then. ) I saw that and still couldn't understand what I was seeing. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 You get one more day to verbally beat the crap out of eachother. Then tomorrow you can start using swords and stuff to do it instead. That's what I figured. Not sure how all the other quests have fared, but ours had lagged because of time zones, so this business could go on for days. Quote
Zepher Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I think the Theatre is outside the real events of the world enough that we'd be okay. It'd be nice to get a new post there, eventually! It seems to have fallen the same way of the Flipz-Quest: production hell. CMP can agree as to who gets to kill off the NPCs. I kill off all of his, and he kills off all of mine. That way we don't feel any sympathy for the people we kill. That's what I figured. Not sure how all the other quests have fared, but ours had lagged because of time zones, so this business could go on for days. We won't let that happen. There are armies out there poised to attack, they don't care if you're in the middle of a conversation or not! Quote
Duvors Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 You know, the feel of the recent quests that people have been making makes me feel ill, can somebody please have a bash and whack at some point in the near future? Quote

Kintobor Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 You know, the feel of the recent quests that people have been making makes me feel ill, can somebody please have a bash and whack at some point in the near future? Well, why don't you elaborate? What do you mean by a "bash and whack"? If your looking for straight enemy killing, sign up for the Fields next time the sign ups roll around, that's basically what it is, monster slashing. Quote

I would love to play in a No-intrigue, No-politics, No-lose-lose-situation, straight up dungeon crawl type quest outside of the Fields. And I am not knocking the QMs I have played for. Just would love something light-hearted after the last few quests I have been in. This & 53 have been mentally draining. Fun, but draining. I am sure it's really draining for the QMs too. Quote
Zepher Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) It is draining. I host more light/fun quests, too, but you never come on them! Edited April 12, 2014 by Zepher Quote

Eck, I like a little more plot than that, basically what I mean is a simple quest with a goal at the end and some enemies to fight through, throw in a few interesting NPC's and that would be fine. I would love to play in a No-intrigue, No-politics, No-lose-lose-situation, straight up dungeon crawl type quest outside of the Fields. Something like that, a fight through some enemies with some object at the end, basically a group of heroes to go to (X location) and retrieve (X object) from (Insert name of group who has X object or location where X object is), and bring it back the the employer. Zepher Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I've got a pretty straight-forward quiet quest coming up this summer! But it will be another long one, so you may want a break with a shorter quest first! I'll announce it in more detail after 88 wraps up, but it's a little over a month away and I think it will (hopefully!) be popular! Quote

I think it's supposed to be short & have Shadeaux rep. Need to get 1 more rep before Hoke reaches lvl 40. Quote
Kintobor Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) It'll be medium sized. A month and a half to two months, with four planned battles. It's a bit of a remix on Quest #3, except with the Ziegfried manor being replaced with a manor surrounded by a vineyard, and crooks coming in periodically to steal things. It's sort of like the alien invasion on the Romani Ranch event in Majora's Mask, if you know what I'm referring to. Edited April 12, 2014 by Kintobor Quote

That is essentially what 94 is: And this isn't a criticism of that quest, either. It's just a relatively straightforward quest, that's all. Quote
