"Hello people I've never met! Let us embark on a journey completely unrelated to myself while I could be spending quality time with my family! Instead, I will put my head on the line for who knows what!"

How is that any different than Heroica?

No, seriously... :look:

They're heroes, who signed into a contract and do it as a direct part of their career. Augstus is a fisherchef.

So just making sure I'm understanding the win conditions for this, since they seem unclear: the Heroes on each side of the bridge need to defeat 10+ the number of rounds it takes to defeat the enemies (and do so before the other side takes the watchtower) in order to win?

Each side has a set (but hidden) number of reinforcements they will spawn. Ideally they wear down each enemy until they run out of reinforcements, keeping the sides balanced.

The desire to circumvent the intended mechanics of this event is strong with this one.

I think it'll be more fun if we play by the rules, of course, but I do have something figured out

Of course it is and then the heroes will go down in the history books as participating in the most boring battle ever recorded. We're not playing to win, we're playing for glory. Edited by Waterbrick Down

There's gotta be some glory in ending an epic battle in record time, if not in an epic fashion, eh? Haha

I hope you're not doing what WBD and I think you're doing or this is going to turn out to be the most hilarious thing ever.

Well now I'm curious what you think I'm doing, because I don't know if I'd call my plan (and the aftermath) hilarious... QM Lounge is going to be an interesting place when this is all over, heh.

I know. I meant that if I'm right, then your plan is going to fail in the most spectacularly hilarious way.

Well only if you twist things to your evil, QM-y ends (as far as I can see).

No, we've had our bases covered for this battle long in advance. No twisting, just one big assumption on your part that may not go as well you think.:devil:

Aaaand now I'm terrified of the possibility that my idea could fail hilariously. Thanks a lot

The other option was staying quiet and let you suffer the consequences instead.

Sorry I'm confused, when did we get to the fields of glory?

Well at least we'd have gotten a good laugh out of it, heh.
