I know it's generally considered bad form to give away plot twists and such, but if the comments are restricted to artifact redistribution, I think it would be different. Quote

Peter Pan's shadow wanted to be away from Peter, and was rather innocent. Amber Makepeace's shadow was created from dark blood magic, and is not necessarily the same shadow that she originally had. Think Midna from Twilight Princess, except gooier and more psychotic. Quote

Myrddyn Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) I think Cinna, Mirona, Boris, Tesni, Jess, Guts, Thormanil, Alexis, Alexandre, Gocklo and Olmstyr can all equip additional artifacts. I think Guts would benefit from Haldor's 'Ognar's Beard,' and he might want to swap his crocodile armour for Haldor's heavy armour or Alexis' Smelly hide. Olmstyr would benefit from Haldor's Scutum shield, Jess has an SP:1 Helmet in her inventory, and an empty artifact slot, Borris could benefit from Nerwen's Robe of the Archmagi, It looks like getting close to the battle now, but I didn't have time to post earlier, so I'll post this stuff and then edit some more in. Dyric has a SP:3 nordic stomach guard that Baradok or Mirona could wear, with whoever doesn't wear it taking Baradok's SP:2 Lighter armour Nelvin or Jess might want to use Alexis' Quickdraw quiver, Alexis might want to equip her Lieutenant's helmet and Winged sandals, Purpearl might want to lend her Thorny Rose to Alexandre, Dreyrugr and Tesni have scrolls they can't use, and some of the tougher casters, maybe Hoke, might want to lend their scrolls to some of the weaker casters, like Purpearl. Dreyrugr has a Net that he might want to lend to a low-level character or someone immune to slow. Cinna might want to either put on her pointy hat or borrow Hoke's Helm of the Lord of Light, or Benji's Tricorne. Olmstyr might want one of the last two. Tesni has a Red Dragon Plume and King's Crown, and could wear one of them, and she might want to swap the Barbarian boots for the other one. Gocklo might as well wear Alexandre's Dapper hat, as I doubt he's going to drink a mead or wear something else. As Vash mentioned earlier, the Smelly Hide would probably help a tank who can use it quite a bit as well. Edited April 15, 2014 by Myrddyn Quote

Actually, if both sides are worn down, then all parties win, because it provides a chance for the reasonable leaders to have a parley. The heroes fighting for the High Kingdoms will be considered victorious if the High Kingdoms soldiers overrun the bridge. The heroes fighting for the orcs will be considered victorious if the orcs overrun the bridge. Both sides will be considered victorious if both enemies run out of reinforcements. Quote
swils Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I think it just doesn't make sense from an RP standpoint. Yes, according to the rules as written, we'll all win if we can wear both sides down, but then, the vast majority of us would also win if we just jumped off the side of the bridge after stalling only the kingdoms' forces for one turn so that the orcs can reach the tower first. Considering in-character motivations, fighting against the army you've chosen to side with makes about as much sense as jumping off the bridge does. Quote
