Kintobor Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 That and the Emergency Essence is half of the users health, Feunghuang is full. Quote
Cutcobra Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Yay for Tidings! Although I didn't really understand what the Foxtail does... Quote
Kintobor Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 The Foxtail, if I'm reading it right, allows the user to negate an enemies positive buffs when attacking. Per example, if the enemy I'm attacking is encouraged and I roll damage, the enemy's positive effect doesn't come into play. It'd strictly be the enemies level. Quote

Sandy Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 So, basically, it's kind of useless unless the enemy has positive effects. Thanks, I understand now. Yes, but so are many other items in different situations as well. Just imagine being faced with an enemy that is super-buffed, and you could ignore all of those effects. Well, now Mizuki can, at the cost of one artifact slot. I really got my creative juices flowing tonight, with all these new items popping out of my head. Just made up the weapon drop for Rusalka, as well. Quote
Cutcobra Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Sorsha could have been so op this fight. But no, you just had to make her plain out useless. Quote

swils Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) That Foxtail would have been a godsend in the Baltarok fight, not to mention most climax/boss-type fights. E: That made me think of something. If someone can deal X damage on a hit, and an enemy is Inspired to have 2X health, and the hero had the Foxtail equipped, would they kill the enemy with a single hit? Chromeknight Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 So if the foxtail ignores positive buffs, does the skunktail ignore enemy immunities? Such as *immune to sudden death*? Or would that be way OP? Quote
Cutcobra Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 The Plunger can still kill the Waterspouts, just not damage them. Ooooohh... This changes everything... Quote

Flipz Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 The foxtail is an absolute requirement for anyone on a Zepher Quest. (Also, will respond to 99 when I can--I'm super swamped at the moment. ) Quote

Bricksandparts Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Topic Example This is what I need to do for my quests so as to not confuse the players! It may be a possibility, although I'd have to learn how to do it, still add effects, backgrounds, etc. effectively. Also it'd be rarely used considering the time it'd take. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Whoever doesn't want the Fox or Skunk tails, Hoke would be interested. Quote

Khorne Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 ~Fabian now stocks High Heels and Fighting Boots in his boutique!~ I want a new rule that states I can wear two different boots at once! One Boot of Evasion and one Fighting Boot! Tempted to buy a pair of those Fighting Boots, but I think my Boots of Evasion are more useful in battle, so it'd just be a waste of money now. Quote
