Brickdoctor Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Seven Brides for Seven Brothers immediately came to mind. Gideon was the sickest sounding cat I ever heard. Indeed. Though it wasn't that bad, until he did the rapid meowing. Pronouncing the 'm' in 'meow' wasn't exactly accurate, but it was funny. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 OoC: Not big on ooc posts that aren't correcting things, but what a lovely scene! having to know how to make pictures completely on the computer hath a few rewards... Quote
legobodgers Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Bricksandparts, how long will this quest take? Also are there going to be enough battle to get any of us to level 15? I am enjoying it so far. Quote

I am enjoying it so far. I can only see Boomingham getting to level 15. You've got another 11 battles, and Flare has 9. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Yeah, this quest isn't too much battling. Just now is the first battle. This quest will probably be finished by the end of this week. Hope you all like it! Oh and sorry about how that moving around is kinda confusing. basically you finished that part now, but not completely. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I'm such a retard! I accidentally saved a file over the place where I had all my pictures... I'll try to get them back together soon. It's nothing TOO big, but because of this, I'll get everything going and you can start the battle. Quote
CMP Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I'm going to be gone for one week starting January 1st. I think I'll have limited internet. If not, just have Jebediahs choose my actions. Don't let me die please. Quote
JimBee Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Bricksandparts: There are a couple things I think you got wrong with your first battle. First, the Sentinel position protects the party from physical damage only. That means that the party cannot lose HP due to an attack that round (not including poison and such), but Special Damage can still occur. All of those times that you crossed out Special Damage should have taken place because they do not inflict damage on the party directly. Also, Triple Shot shoots three arrows, which hit the enemies in order, starting from the targeted enemy. So if Benji targeted the Snow Warrior, the arrows would have hit: Snow Warrior Snow Captain (going back up to the top of the list) Snow Warrior (again because three arrows are shot, regardless of the number of enemies in play) I'm pretty sure that's how it would work. Ok, thanks for the pointers. I didn't realize that. I'll try to do better next battle. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) It's kinda a coincidence that the actual cape lego piece is being worn by Alf. Just noticed that. But Callmepieordie is right. Now that we can only use 1 artefact period, somebody else might as well have it, but I'd being willing to trade my helmet for it... Edited January 1, 2012 by Bricksandparts Quote

Brickdoctor Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I apologize for how slowly Quest 17 has been proceeding, guys. With the holidays coming to an end, I should be able to get things moving more quickly, though. Quote
Scorpiox Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Aww. If they existed, Haldor would be an expert class already! Whut? You are giving the impression that Haldor has loads! He only got one from a young gnome, and that was necessary for the good of the quest! Quote
Flipz Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Anyone else wish they had everyone's characters as CMFs? In other "news", Sandy, I am epically jealous of your Lego collection. Especially now that I fully realize just how massive it must be! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Etzel, I understand real life is more important but all the actions had been sent in on the 27. You were viewing the forums on the 30. If it happens again, please may we have warning? Life does pose a problem sometimes, and it was the festive period. Quote

Please, I have a bunch of this stuff, including the Basilisk! I just leave my sets intact. But it is a pretty impressive collection if you think about it. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 And I'm hosting a quest... ...And I have no Lego at all! Quote
JimBee Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Bricksandparts, I hate to interfere with your quest again, and make things harder on the characters of those playing in it, but I think you did the special damage of the snow spiders wrong. It says that it blocks all damage to its allies, so you should still roll for the characters targeting it (they can still roll damage or special damage). If you had wanted the special damage to force the characters to skip their turn, then you should have specified. Again, not trying to be a dick here, but fair is fair. Quote

Actually this would probably be more realistic now that I think about it. After all, the warriors wouldn't just sit there. They'd attack, and even if the heroes can't harm them, they still would have to fight. Sorry for all the troubles with battle. Hosting a battle is much more tedious than I first thought... Speaking of which, hosting a quest is no piece of cake. Quote
Zepher Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I apologize for how slowly Quest 17 has been proceeding, guys. With the holidays coming to an end, I should be able to get things moving more quickly, though. I'd like to echo that. Maybe it's just host anxiety, but I feel that my quest is dragging it's feet, which is too bad because I was really excited about it. As we reach the month long mark... well, I just hope you guys aren't getting bored! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Nope not bored, keep up the good job. Quote
