Kintobor Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Allow me to formally welcome you to Hell. I thought some Regret hologram was showing up in 99. Nope, just pink Regret. Happy Happy is Pink. Five internet points to anyone who gets the reference. Quote
StickFig Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 "It is my understanding that we have to go down to this maze of mirrors and divert the path of the light from the painting device to the forge." The sun casts a bright beam, but with no one to behold it. Weigh down all six pedestals, and the eye of the observer will at last open. Light will have to [/i]find its own path, riccocheting endlessly through these dark halls... Only when light pierces the eye shall the way forward open. Ok now, CMP and Endgame, did you guys plan this? Who stole who's idea? As Darksten finishes his poem, he gives an elaborate bow... Oh, bravo! Are you planning for Darksten to become a Minstrel? Quote
Flipz Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Ok now, CMP and Endgame, did you guys plan this? Who stole who's idea? Oh, bravo! Are you planning for Darksten to become a Minstrel? Plot twist: the two locked-off passages lead into each other. Somehow. Quote
The_Customizer Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Thought I'd might as well join the Pink Bandwagon. In fact, ALL Quest 99ers should make their pictures pink.... Or even better, we all use the exact same picture, so Endgame just confuses each of us for one another. Quote
Flipz Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Q102: You should intentionally kill a bunch of wolves with AoE so you get extra daggers from them to sell later. Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Look slightly to your left, then scroll up to the top and look left again. Is your mind blown yet? Quote
Chromeknight Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Q102: You should intentionally kill a bunch of wolves with AoE so you get extra daggers from them to sell later. They'll only resell 20g each. Not worth farming... Quote
Duvors Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Oh no, it's spreading! Not to me, my avatar is still a gorgeous green. Quote
Sandy Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 I've been thinking of updating Ellaria's look for quite a while now, and today I got a batch of new pieces so I decided to experiment a little. What do you think, too much perhaps? Quote
Flipz Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Just a little. I like that torso a lot, though, as well as the change to Ignis Fatuum to reflect the perma-Poisoned. The helmet, however, is stretching it a bit. Quote

CMP Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I look the look, but the bright green and the bright orange on the pants is eye-watering. Quote

[snip] What do you think, too much perhaps? Nice, but I would recommend some other printing for the legs, the one you have at present clashes with the color scheme, and I'd add a cape myself. Sandy Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 I look the look, but the bright green and the bright orange on the pants is eye-watering. But she's a girl, she's allowed to wear bright colors. Besides, I tried to make the awful helmet match the rest of the attire somehow. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 I think the spider helmet's pushing it a little, but everything else looks good. Quote
Flipz Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 But she's a girl, she's allowed to wear bright colors. Besides, I tried to make the awful helmet match the rest of the attire somehow. Suggestion: have her carry the helmet, it'll look better. You can then use a tiny bit of clay to stick her crossbow to her back. By the way, have you considered which Expert Class you'll be taking Ellaria, or is she just going to wait for High Cleric? No party communication at all? Isn't that the entire premise of the Heroica system? Quote
CMP Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 You can then use a tiny bit of clay to stick her crossbow to her back. Heresy. Quote
Sandy Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 No party communication at all? Isn't that the entire premise of the Heroica system? Gotta try out new mechanics. Quest#93 has been my laboratory for that, so I'm very grateful for the players for putting up with that. Heresy. Just guess what the helmet is attached to the hairpiece with? Quote
CMP Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Just guess what the helmet is attached to the hairpiece with? The power of gravity and sheer will? Do you have any idea how long it took to balance McCafferey where she is in Atramor's picture? But she's a girl, she's allowed to wear bright colors. Besides, I tried to make the awful helmet match the rest of the attire somehow. The bright colors aren't what looks bad, it's just the leg print looks super lurid. It can be both eye-watering and look awesome at the same time. Exhibit A. Quote
Endgame Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Gotta try out new mechanics. Quest#93 has been my laboratory for that, so I'm very grateful for the players for putting up with that. It's like that one smoky room from 50, but tripled. Quote

Flipz Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Ooh, Beast Warrior Ellaria...that would be interesting. Quote
Flipz Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) Actually that Bone Scepter is really good for starting Mages--they could theoretically start out with a Diamond and make themselves super-effective versus enemies, or be able to cast against enemies they wouldn't otherwise be able to hit (i.e. pure Holy enemies). EDIT: Why didn't that merge, it was only 15 minutes apart? Edited June 6, 2014 by Flipz Quote
