Sandy Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 If so, then I stand by Kintobor in that I don't think it suits her at all. I know it looks a bit anachronistic, but it makes her stand out. Her new look is supposed to portray her as more of an "action girl", now that she is steadily gaining confidence. I think I'll keep her old hair in the end, though. Quote
Palathadric Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I very much like the other hair too. It actually looks great in that colour with that face. I should take note. I still like the light green arms. Quote
Duvors Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I personally don't like the beehive. It looks off on Ellaria. I do however really like the first one, and I even sort of like the spider helmet, but perhaps in her hands it would look better. I agree with Kinto to on this, it really looks wrong on her. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I agree with Kinto to on this, it really looks wrong on her. As do I, although I also don't know when I'd really think that fit on any character. Just my preference of course, but to me it seems a bit too much. Quote

It looks different but still recognizable and not like a 50s waitress. Quote
Sandy Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 Consider the swept-back hair. It looks different but still recognizable and not like a 50s waitress. I've tried it on Ellaria before, and it looks fine, but I've used it for my NPCs too many times. Quote
Sandy Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 And by too many times, you mean three. Yes. I want Ellaria to be unique. Quote
Actaeon Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Loving the puns, Acateon! Maybe you ought to change your character's outfit to this? I wouldn't make too good of a ranger if I could be spotted from several miles away! Yes. I want Ellaria to be unique. Well, I think that the hair in both of these http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58807&st=35625#entry1910889 look unique without over doing it. Quote
Cutcobra Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I really hope the god turns out to be Elphaba or her cat. Quote
Duvors Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) I really hope the god turns out to be Elphaba or her cat. I don't think so, she's more likely to be the Keeper herself! Yes. I want Ellaria to be unique. You know that there isn't very much you can do with Lego in that regard, do you realize how many NPC's have the face I used for Throlar? Edited June 8, 2014 by Lord Duvors Quote
Kintobor Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Yes. I want Ellaria to be unique. That's why I use Harley's head for Karie! I can't see anyone else using it! Quote
Emjajoas Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) I don't think I've seen the head I use for Em anywhere, so I guess I'm sorta lucky in that regard. Edited June 8, 2014 by emjajoas Quote
Endgame Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I must admit I don't follow your startegy of using healing staves on them, Flipz. Quote
Actaeon Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I don't think I've seen the head I use for Em anywhere, so I guess I'm sorta lucky in that regard. When I made my character, I made sure that the face was unused by the players, but I didn't check the NPCs. Quote
Cutcobra Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Heckz' face was original until Brickdoctor used it on an elf... boohoo. Don't know about Heckz' hair though. Edited June 8, 2014 by Cutcobra Quote
Palathadric Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I don't think I've seen the head I use for Em anywhere, so I guess I'm sorta lucky in that regard. Where is that head from anyway? I must admit I don't follow your startegy of using healing staves on them, Flipz. It's great when party members mess with their QM. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 You know that there isn't very much you can do with Lego in that regard, do you realize how many NPC's have the face I used for Throlar? It doesn't help that Throlar's picture is very small and it's hard to see the face used. As long as there's not the same hair/face combination, I think people will just going to have to accept that there's going to be overlap, or unexpected family relations. Quote
Endgame Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 It's great when party members mess with their QM. Oh, so I guess you're enlightened then, huh? This isn't the 38 Healing Staff strategy, I know that much - that requires hitting teammates, not enemies. Quote
Flipz Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I must admit I don't follow your startegy of using healing staves on them, Flipz. Oh, nothing, just breaking your entire battle. Oh, so I guess you're enlightened then, huh? This isn't the 38 Healing Staff strategy, I know that much - that requires hitting teammates, not enemies. Just for the record, you do realize we have the capability for that that we can turn on and off at will, right? When I made my character, I made sure that the face was unused by the players, but I didn't check the NPCs. I don't have to worry about anyone else using Arthur's face--I own one of exactly two copies of that print, and the other one exists only in the LEGO archives. As long as there's not the same hair/face combination, I think people will just going to have to accept that there's going to be overlap, or unexpected family relations. I have lots of fond memories of when Endgame and Kinto suddenly decided/realized their characters were related to Violetta and each other. Quote
Palathadric Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 "We did this for our God, did you forget that?Funny, I would have expected to meet God by now." Oh, so I guess you're enlightened then, huh? This isn't the 38 Healing Staff strategy, I know that much - that requires hitting teammates, not enemies. I said nothing. Even if not, I don't need to understand a battle strategy in order to mock someone else for not understanding it. Quote
Endgame Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 My boss fight just got several times harder. For you. Also, not completely broken, Mr. Flipz. Those specials aren't going anywhere. Quote
Duvors Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I have lots of fond memories of when Endgame and Kinto suddenly decided/realized their characters were related to Violetta and each other. Awkward family relations are fun! I don't think Prezel would say that if he was there. Quote

C'mon, it's not a Devil Program Quest without at least one fight being completely destroyed. Karie's pumpkin bomb cackles as it completely circumvents the QM's planned battle. "...Are those things legal?" Quote
Kintobor Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I freaking love Pumpkin Bombs ruining people's plans! Quote
