Palathadric Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I don't think Prezel would say that if he was there. Actually, I think he would, you know if he were left to wander the spirit world communicating with necromancers. Quote
Endgame Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 It's not happening in my finale, I can assure you that. Quote
Flipz Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Question about the Unlimited Quest and Necromancers: if the Heroes choose the Overdose or Apocalypse challenge and raise some of the defeated enemies as undead, the raised undead will still have the Overdose/Apocalypse-induced level, right? Quote
Emjajoas Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Where is that head from anyway? Honestly? I have no idea. I got it online a few years back. Quote
Flipz Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Honestly? I have no idea. I got it online a few years back. Agent Zed from Alpha Team (the Arctic-themed year). That's the one theme-year that I own all the sets for, so I know it well. Quote
Actaeon Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Actaeon, I would love to see your version of any map that's been posted on the Library. Alright, I finished the first one though. Thoughts? Quote
Kintobor Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 The text could be a bit more prominent, but other than that, I really like it! Quote
Actaeon Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 The text could be a bit more prominent, but other than that, I really like it! Awesome! So do I need to fix the text? Or is that good enough? Quote
Duvors Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Alright, I finished the first one though. Thoughts? Lovely, though I think you forgot to label Billand. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I like the map a lot, but part of me feels that it is nicer not colored, partly because it'll make it easier to read, partly that it'll make it look more authentic, but mostly because when it is colored it makes it feel like a satellite view where you can see everything, and I think it's nicer if it feels like there are still unexplored areas. Just my thoughts, but still, nice work Quote
Actaeon Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Lovely, though I think you forgot to label Billand. Thank you I actually did label it, it is just hard to see. I should fix that Quote
Actaeon Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 The text could be a bit more prominent, but other than that, I really like it! Alright, made the text white, it is much easier to see now Quote

Just my thoughts, but still, nice work The reality is, though, the blank spaces are definitely getting filled in on the map. There's still new things out here to find, but the new style reflects the development--both in game and in the playerbase--that we're more familiar with this world than we used to be. And realistically speaking, Uland is a small island that has been populated for hundreds of years--it really should be almost completely explored. Awesome! So do I need to fix the text? Or is that good enough? I'd definitely say fix the test--a simple "mask" or "glow" effect should do the trick. Also consider submitting the map in-character--it could make for a great roleplaying moment. Quote
Flipz Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 EDIT: Ninja'd...upon closer inspection, I prefer the black text, but as I said a white "glow" effect (similar to the second sample shown here would be awesome. Quote
The Legonater Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I don't think I've seen the head I use for Em anywhere, so I guess I'm sorta lucky in that regard. I did pretty much the same thing for Dyric, and chose a fairly rare head I've only seen in one set. Still haven't seen it anywhere else in Heroica. Quote

Chromeknight Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Is there an Indiana Jones copy somewhere around or has none gone there yet? Quote

Chromeknight Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) ...Am I stupid for still not understanding? What are these pod things? If I remember the story they're prizes from a geo-cacheing game run by LEGO to promote LEGO Universe MMRPG. (I'm mobile at the moment so I'm not going to clickthru the links Flipz provided) Edited June 9, 2014 by Chromeknight Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) Oh it's a geo caching thing, I get it now, thanks. Edited June 9, 2014 by LordoftheNoobs Quote
