Bit of a busy day today 104-ers--today's update might be a bit later than usual.

Awesome, it's seeming (as early as it is) to turn into a pretty cool quest.

So, Doc, out of curiosity: when you hit Level 50, do you plan to get Barbarian's Boots, Winged Sandals, or something else entirely?

I'll probably grab one of the two to fill the slot, temporarily (I hope. ). I'm leaning towards the Barbarian's Boots, because they're slightly cheaper, I don't really care if I'm Bound, and my HP is getting high enough that restoring full Health often means using Health Cores, which are more expensive and harder to find than the Remedies or Smelling Salts that would remove or cancel out Slowed.

Do you have a recommendation?

That's fine, take your time. If it's after about 6 Eurobrick time, I might not be able to reply until later in the night (11-12ish).

Just noticed that Flipz almost got the perfect team, just missing the barbarian and got another mage instead.

Are items suitable for Archmages suitable for Prophets too, just like items suitable for Mages are, or not? Thinking, obviously, about the Robe of the Eldritch Archmagi.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Looks like we'll have a large amount of back line action :P

>Em attacks Shade A - Hit Shield: Aura (Aura)

>Soryx attacks Selenrae (double) - Special Damage Damage (Drawn to Em, no deflect, 100/2 - 19 = 31 damage)

>Hybros attacks AIUPIIUP - Lethal Aim Shield: Grim Reaper (U'Reeka assassinated (and you took that whole turn to remove your cloak, too... ), AIUIIUP explodes, damage to heroes drawn to Em, 800/2 - 19 = a lot of damage, Em KO'd, 100 damage to enemies)

This was so satisfying. Can I get a medal for this? Or-- oooh!-- a ribbon, maybe?

If it's suitable for the base class, it is suitable for other classes branching off of the base class.

It specifically says only suitable to archmages though, which puts it in a weird place.

It doesn't actually say "only." Items for Mages also say "Suitable for Mages." Still I would like to be sure.

How about a Scrap Metal?

Maybe the Crimson Crown will offer to induct you and give you one of those masks.

Hey, it worked for Karie when she joined the Syndicate.

I think that has to be a record for damage dealt to a hero. :look: I'd give you a medal for that.

It's better than nothing. :P

One can only hope-- those masks seem pretty cool.

Maybe I'll get Em to fall for the Scar. He does have a great tophat and all.

Is it? I'd be interested to see anything that gives it a run for its money.

How late do you think it might be? I have to sleep early tonight because I have to travel early tomorrow morning.

If Boomingham ever leaves Strivvi and gets a chance to be Maurauder (which I'd love) he'd pay good money for that cape.:grin:

The plan is to at least get the sign-ups for that Quest out before the end of the year. There's still one more Quest between now and then.

I still plan to host at least three Quests that offer the class, though.

I really want to go on at least one of those--not necessarily for the class (as awesome as it is), but for the chance to see Jules and Knife-tongue and Illdria again. :sweet:

Sorry, items that are specifically suitable to other classes besides the six basic ones are exclusive to that class. Veteran Job Classes included.

Remember that Prophet's equipment description says it can use anything Mages, Clerics and Rangers can use. Not every Mage automatically gets to be an Archmage.

"...What?"

I let that sink in for a moment.

"WHAT?! You mean I walked in here with a prognosis of a year, and I may walk out of here with only a few months? I may have to get my arm aputated, even!

This... This isn't good..."

I think Sorrow needs to re-watch Back to the Future. Basically it's been a day inside the school, but outside of it months have passed. So it's like only a day has passed to everyone inside the school, which would include Sorrow and his undead disease.

Like, he's not going to age six months just because he's back in the regular timestream.

Sorrow doesn't know that. He's reacting knowing that pieces of his body, and his life in general have a pretty strict time limit. Any amount of timey wimey stuff is liable to make him panic. :shrug_oh_well:

He's no supergenius, he's an old man afraid that he may have lost time he has.
