You can only bind one gem of each type to a single weapon. Opposing strengths and weaknesses of each gem cancel out - if you have a Ruby and an Aquamarine gem you'll do only normal damage to fire-type enemies. You can't have Adamantium and Mythril in the same weapon.

I figured that it would be something like that...

Ah, well, never hurts to ask. Now to figure out the optimal combination of gems for the most common* enemies...Or for the least common(never knowing when something unexpected might appear...)...

*Based on actual appearances in quests, not just the Bestiary...

Can we have clarification of when this rule is not the case? I swear this isn't the case for many weapons... :sceptic:

It's always been this way.

Written rule, i think it mentions it in Anwyl's section of the marketplace.

You're right, it does...

Of course. Zoot's Reaper would sense me...its brother. And I it.

I'll bite. What the hell are you talking about?

Arthur absorbed his Zoot's Plaything into his body; that's why he's now inky (and hiding it).

That banner already makes it look awesome.

^Agreed. Perfect picture choice - mood and lighting are perfect! :excited:

I guess Hoke needs to pick out a costume for the masquerade ball.

Thank you for the kind words! The event will begin in October, but Sign Ups for the individual quests will be in mid-late September, so you have lots of time to get ready! :classic: As well, we currently have five relatively short one-off quests planned for the event. There will be more info released as we count down to Halloween, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoy the teaser,

we're just dying to get this started.

It'll be a good opportunity for me to accidentally once again skip out on trying to roleplay Sarge. And it also looks awesome, generally. :classic:

I'm happy to announce that my next quest pitch, going up (hopefully, if Sandy is pleased with it :laugh: ) in a day or two will be a Hybros Quest, just like 92 served as a Tarn Quest. I think it's gonna be a fun one, and will be short and sweet in the same way (though maybe more lore packed). Just wanted to give a heads up, like I did for the Tarn one, so that no one is surprised with what they get into. If you want to go on the Hybros Quest but are afraid that you will be pushed to the side, ask Flipz or Pala what it was like, I'm sure they'll be honest with you (and hopefully me if there are things I need to improve!).

For the record, 92 was a great quest to be on. Maybe it's just because I loved Tarn as a character and Flipz was ridiculously fun to talk with, but I would have no problem going on such a quest again. Pretzel and Hybros may need a bit of time away from each other though.

I'll have NPCs popping in every time a new sign up update is announced to hold you folks over! Some nice, some... less than nice.

Noticed that; Shame Em missed Masson. Looking forward to what you've got planned. Especially with the ever ominous "less than nice" tag.

:wall: Edited comment.

As much as I appreciate the support, Pala, that ship has sailed--literally.

What I'm more confused about was what the hell happened to Arthur's internal grammar/syntax.

When in doubt, blame mobile device posting.

Seerus returns to arranging his increasing number of drinks in accordance to their placement on the color spectrum.

He then reconsiders and arranges them according to alcohol content by volume, then once again sorts alphabetically by the second letter of the drink's name...

Seerus is an artist. He went from arranging them in accordance to the light spectrum to making a mosaic.

(And one of his abilities involves turning people into paintings, but I digress...)

But one thing was clear: Masson Cour and pain trod the same course, and it seemed cruel to relay such to the man with no details to support it...

Hey, you, stop looking in my Google Drive. :poke:
