Seeing as the Quest is pretty much over (though in my opinion it's been "over" for about three months now), I'll just voice my thoughts in the QM Lounge.

(Makes a mental note to watch out for future Bricksandparts quests!)

If I ever host a quest, the loot drop will probably be(assuming Sandy were to approve it) very "open-world" based. E.g., monsters and bosses drop a moderate amount of gold and potions, with one or two weapons or artifacts(the usual). The real loot though, would be directly based on how diligently you search for it(as in, search and examine everything and everywhere - it will pay off.).

That's actually one of the things I liked the least about 95, actually--that whole sequence where the party had to spend extra time patting down the corpses for loot (amongst other unrewarding things). :sceptic:

Eeww.

I meant more in the line of searching dressers, cabinets, etc for loot. Kind of what Lind's doing in #103.

Corpses...

Yeh, but who stores their super awesome sword of awesomeness in their sock drawer?

I think that the quick-draw quiver should be limited to ranged weapons though, that might balance it out. Although then she will just fight from the back row as well...

Quickdraw quiver is only suitable for rangers. Zakura seems to have slipped it out of the item's description. Mizuki can thus use the item only as long as she's an assassin.

Sorry that you don't like to see another Lucky Die in the game, but what's done is done. :sceptic:

If I understand the rules correctly, then 6645 would be a winning combination since the player passed 4 rounds without 1-3 or a second 4 or 5. If that is the case then the odds are around 1/62 for winning the die. Considering that, winning in 40 games isn't too unreasonable.

You didn't understand the rules. Only 6's could win you a round, so the winning combinations would be 6666, 66646, 66656 and 666456 (and their variants).

Actually, given that rolling 4 or 5 more than once ends the game, the only winning combinations are 6666, 46666, 56666, 64666, 65666, 66466, 66566, 66646, or 66656, making the true odds 14/7776, or 1/555.428571429.

That's actually much better odds than I expected--but still. Do or do not, there should be no "if you're ridiculously lucky".

(Yes, I got it wrong before, I forgot the proper way to deal with probability: choose the number of desired outcomes and set them over the total number of possible outcomes, which in this case is the total number of possibilities for up to five dice rolls which is 6*6*6*6*6.)

Reading the rules, I thought it meant that rolling 4 twice or 5 twice would end the game. I give up...

It's OK, I don't think anyone can understand B&P's mechanics.

(B&P, you might ought to take that into consideration in the future. )

I just want to apologize ahead of time, the way Actaeon acts is much different than my own behavior. It's just role-play, I swear!

What did you do?!?!

We all know it's roleplay, go ahead and do it.

Nothing that bad yet, but Actaeon can be... well we'll see. But still, I just wanted to be clear :P

I don't think anyone does. That's why I stay clear of B&P quests.

Edit: Ninja'd!

Yeah I don't think that anyone does actually

(No offense intended B&P)

Heroica isn't about hitting things until they're dead,

Wait, did the rules change, or have I been doing it wrong the whole time?!

Dang, I was going to [insert action here], but I didn't comment in time :(

It happens to me on a daily basis. That's part of the interesting-ness of Heroica: you never know what order things will happen in or who might post next.
