...B&P, I forgot to Pm you entirely, didn't I? :wall: I was on vacation these past two weeks, but as I wasn't hosting a quest, I did not mention it. I attempted to once, but the internet died, and I must've forgot to do it afterwards...

Johon is still welcome in ER - I just wanted to close the sign ups early to ease the potential congestion in the hall, and I completely forgot. I'm sorry.

I haven't been paying attention to the hall topic lately. 105 was closed? :cry_sad:

Since 21 heroes were in demand and all of the quests were going on at once, the other QMs and I worked out who would be going where, and I announced early in order to avoid congestion. If you want/can get back before the quest begins (Aug. 2nd), I'd be happy to take you, as the beginning has something really relevant to Johon... if not, I'm talking to Sandy about a system that allows heroes to join the quest at a later date.

*sigh* That was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make, even though I knew it was coming--and on top of that, a really emotional scene for a character I really liked. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go sit in the corner and cry now. :cry_sad:

Zeph allowed Dyric to join late in the early portion of 53. :shrug_confused: *goes back to crying* :cry_sad:

An early bit in the quest (between battles 1 and 2) actually ties in pretty heavily with Johon's back story, though... And good to see there is some precedent for the system, I hadn't realized.

The only issue that Heroica Hall is in Eubric, making Dyric's joining a bit more plausible than a hero travelling all the way to the Citadel in one night... But if Sandy approves, I may have something in store.

I'll definitely head back to the hall after this fight is over. Sorry doc :sceptic:, 105 is probably one of the best role-playing quests for me. Thanks for allowing me to join :cry_happy:. *Cries tears of joy in unison with Flipz's tears of sorrow. *

I'm...not sure. I recall Bricksandparts saying he wanted to go back at the beginning of August for an Endgame quest, but looking at the Hall, Endgame doesn't appear to have any open sign-ups. I, for one, want to get to at least 200 GP and preferably Level 50 before leaving.

When you hit 50, what class are you going to choose? I'm planning on Paragon, myself.

I apologize if my mistake causes any greivances for the UQers in advance - especially Brickdoctor.

B&P, do you think you can wrap this one up in 2 days?

I started out as a Ranger and I've never developed any Ether-related skills, so I'm going with Mime.

Not a problem. :classic:

I'd estimate three or four more Rounds at the worst for Quarry's army to finish them off.

Flipz, half the time when you post here I'm lost because I haven't read every single other thread that's ongoing... when are you going to learn to quote so that people know what you're talking about? :poke:

I partly try to not quote in case there are people who don't want other Quests spoiled for them (I.e. Baltarok), even though it's sometimes confusing. In this case, though, I was talking about 104.

Also: quoting is a pain on mobile.

Doc, I'd be interested in making a party with you to the fields.

I wouldn't be opposed, assuming it doesn't take too long for the next party to get going to the Fields. I wouldn't want to stay any longer than it takes me to get to Level 50, though. To be honest, I do kind of want to go on a regular quest sooner rather than later.

@ Flare: Equilibrium Tonic - Converts up to 20 health to ether

Not a horribly bad item if I do say so myself, considering that health restoration is cheaper than Ether restoration and that for a Cleric of Erdy's level, 1 Ether can easily be converted back into much more than 20 HP.

Converts up to 20 health to ether. This can KO you if you are missing more ether than you can convert.

Oh, really? That seems kinda unnecessary--not to mention the "up to" wording implies it would stop at 1 HP. :sceptic:

In that case, I'd remove "up to" from the description, since normal consumables won't increase health/Ether beyond maximum anyway. (I do think my way woul;d be better, though. )

Because then it would sound like it uses 20 health every time, even if you were only missing 12 ether.

...geez, Masked, it's like you didn't even read 53. :poke:

I agree with that thing where you should quote what you're talking about. I hosted 53 and I don't even know what you're teasing Masked for, and it always makes me embarrassed because you remember my stuff better than I do, but I have to ask because I want to be in on the joke.

About how on pretty much any Zepher Quest your number one priority has to be to "protect the NPCs at all times". Basically, he seems completely unaware of the location (and/or existence?) of the party's Phoenix Essences, a skill I thought you'd burned into all of us on 53.

Remember when Pie went on a solo mission to save an NPC, and then climbed out a window instead.

Still really bitter over that because I would've stayed had the Witch's Shield been the way it is now. :cry_sad:

You have a good point, but I still think the wording is confusing. Not sure how to fix it, though. :shrug_confused:

On the plus side, I think that's what really started the push to improve the Witch's SHIELD--I think I or someone else pointed out that pretty much any other Expert Class would have had a chance that fight if they'd rolled a Shield, but yours hurt your chances. Or something. I have too much rattling around in my head today.
