Now I remember why I don't always follow Endgame's quests too closely.

I'm gone for one day and three pages.

As always on the weekends, guys, I just got off a nine hour shift of scooping ice cream, so updates are a-coming, but give me an hour or two.

I'm sorry, Zepher! If I remember 70 correctly, weekends are your busy time, right?

Unfortunately, they're my down time.

Both at home and at school, weekends are indeed my busy time! At school I'm on student film shoots, which a) more fun that work and b) like 14 hours a day instead of 9. So a give and take.

We'll see what happens in this fight in 102, but I'm a little confused about the Red Death - Avery should have died in 72 since she didn't kill Nyx or Hybros, right?

Not on the last jump. Nyx got knocked out by Watters, and Avery killed him before Nyx regained consciousness. Hybros was waiting outside the door, presumably not watching (since Avery is not dead). Red Assassins can tell people they are about to kill someone; they only have to kill people who actually witness them fighting in combat.

Ah, very clever on Zepher's part then. I did go back and read that part, but I had thought that Red Assassins had to carry out their contract without being detected. Thanks for the clarification.

Was about to clarify, but yes, had to go back and read myself - I thought I covered my tracks, but wanted to be sure. It'd be embarrassing if I didn't, then the whole fight in 102 would not be justified even a little.

I'd actually prefer one with a full white background, but it's of course a bit trickier to pull off without ruining the picture.

EDIT: I'm slowly moving towards backgrounds with all white light, but like Sandy said, you need a ton of sun for it.

Yeah, these two were edited since the tan of the U'kin head was somewhat difficult to see against the white backdrop. Here's an all-white version:

Hmm, I wonder if a transparent PNG would be better?

Flipz, not sure what you are using to edit the photo, but if you are using Photoshop, I would recommend increasing the contrast of the head, while also increasing the brightness of the background (to make it all white) Play around with the levels a bit and it should turn out as you want it to. Also, I prefer the white background.

I also prefer the white background/transparent PNG, and I concur with The_Customizer that increasing contrast would help. If you are using GIMP/Photoshop, you might also try upping the color saturation of the not-white bits.

Not that it matters too much with today's Internet speeds (*glances at Palathadric* ), but since the Heroica forum's skin now uses a white post background instead of tan (actually, every skin except for Pirates uses white there, now), there's little reason to use a transparent BG PNG (at least for NPC avatars that will never be seen in another forum) — a white BG JPEG will look just as good at a smaller image size. It's also faster and easier to cleanly turn the BG white than it is to cut it out.

And I, too, would suggest using curves to increase the contrast.

I was wondering, since the Wiki states that Farrech is the northernmost settlement of Dastan, is everything north of there not considered to be part of the Empire anymore? Those "horned" areas in the north of the Dastanese continent aren't claimed then, are they? Brickdoctor's map also doesn't seem to include any info for that area, so I thought I'd ask here .

To make it more clear, I'm talking about the area where the words "Dastan Empire" are placed on this map, yet it doesn't really seem to be part of the empire on other maps or in the lore (as far as I know of).

True. The Wiki supports transparent PNGs, though, so I'll probably go with that.

AFAIK, those lands are mountainous and unclaimed, but of course they might be within Rito or Dragon territory that the Empire isn't claiming. It's also possible that they claim it but don't actually enforce their claim (and actually that sounds like an interesting Quest concept now that I think of it ).

Somewhere between Veer and R'klif might work. I don't think those forests have been named, or claimed by any one faction.

Regarding the maps, has anyone made a more accurate political map? With country boundaries and borders. Maybe a physical map of the entire world as well, not just the ones divided up smaller.

Side note, the islands to the south of Azzurat splitting the Pearl and Summer Seas, are those currently a part of any empire?
