Flipz Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 As the door opened Atramor noted that the mob of undead had turned back to the door they were earlier trying to get into. A few lay motionless on the ground, their bodies smoking. Oh, dear, that's no good--now they're going to get lung cancer! Quote
LordoftheNoobs Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Maybe he means they were really attractive? Quote
Palathadric Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Don't underestimate the capabilities of the Magnificent Magniscope. I wish I hadn't sold that. It's too awesome, just like the Magic Shovel. It's a shame that neither of them are any good for Artisans though. Quote

Endgame Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Pretzel just couldn't handle the Magnificent Magnification. Multiple magnitudes of magnifcient magnifications make merely maniacal monks go malevolently mad. Quote
Palathadric Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Wow, I never realized that. I guess you're right. Quote
Emjajoas Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 So as far as the whole balancing for imbalanced parties things go, my job is to basically make life a living hell for Docken via passive specials and a bunch of SP-ignoring %Max health damage, right? Because that's what I'm doing. I hope you don't expect 109 to be easy for you, Brickdoctor. Quote
Sandy Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Welcome to the game, Asphalt and Bacon Potatoes! May your heroes live long and prosper. Quote
Endgame Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Wait, so you can make 200+ damage bombs for the price of 101 gold x number of bombs? Seems low. Quote
Sandy Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Wait, so you can make 200+ damage bombs for the price of 101 gold x number of bombs? Seems low. Yes, for the purposes of this quest, you can. They're consumable items, mind you, so once you use them, they're gone. Quote

Although, and I know I'm biased when I say this in this situation, it's usually not good QM practice to do that in every battle, because if every battle is setup specifically to ignore powerful builds, then there becomes to point to attempting to improve one's character's build. Emjajoas Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) It's not all of them, but I do need to make it difficult for you while making it easier for the lower-leveled players. I'm doing my best to do that, but it's certainly far from perfect and I think it'll end up easier for you than them, but hopefully it'll be fun anyways. Edited August 8, 2014 by Emjajoas Quote

I just ran through the Fields with Quarry; a challenge might be a nice change of pace. Quote

Zepher Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Sorry all, been very busy but I'm in transit on the way home from the city right now, so updates are coming! I know I've been playing a little fast and loose with the 24 hour rule, but sometimes I just can't get to a computer. Hopefully everyone is still hanging in there! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Ditto, next update will be in about 7hrs, 108ers. Quote

Flipz Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 The Heroica RPG has undergone a fairly major overhaul--at least in terms of available templates and navigation and the main page. I'm still trying to get a template guide together, but rest assured a lot has been added. I do need some help, however. I'm looking for Heroica-themed icons for use in various notifications--here's a list of the templates I know need icons for certain, but any relevant icons you can think of are much appreciated: http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Underconstruction http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Unreleased_content http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Empty_section http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Featured http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Inuse http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Protected http://templates.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Cleanup Thanks for your help, everyone! Duvors Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I just had one of the most absolutely horrible thoughts ever. Anyone want to know what it is? The Legonater Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Is there a LEGO shield we could use for Protected? Clean up obviously should be Scheherazade with a broom. Quote
Endgame Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Special thanks to Zepher for the lovely interlude! Quote
Zepher Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 My pleasure. I'm glad the two finally addressed the issue of the similar name. Quote
Flipz Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Is there a LEGO shield we could use for Protected? Clean up obviously should be Scheherazade with a broom. I like both of these ideas. Note that for Protected, the template lists four different icons to differentiate between the levels/durations of protection (the Main Page is protected indefinitely because there's no need for non-admins to change it, while another page might be temporarily locked for other reasons). Perhaps either four different shields or one shield recolored four times for the various levels? In other news, I feel like the impression that Eubric has laws and/or that the Town Watch is some sort of legitimate governmental authority is probably the most common mistake players make regarding game lore. So of course it falls to Diana to disavow them of that notion. Quote
