Zepher Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Eh, I'm not perfect. Maybe this is his evil twin Eran. But yes, sorry for the mistake. I was trying to bring back a character from long ago who was underused, but it appears that was because he was dead. And Sandy, have fun! I'm also excited for another Bonaparte Quest - I don't know if we've gotten one since the death in the family (though, as just proved, I'm not great on the memory thing) and I'm interested to see how life has changed for them. Brickdoctor Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Zeph, Eran Hinkwell is dead. Eh, I'm not perfect. Maybe this is his evil twin Eran. If Eran is the good twin, then obviously the evil twin is named Nare. Eran is a Minstrel who was raised by their Chaotic Good barmaid mother, while Nare is a multiclassed Rogue who was raised by their Lawful Evil warlord father. You can tell them apart because Nare has a goatee. Quote

Palathadric Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I've also got a Ji Pei quest and a Bonaparte quest coming up some time in the fall, so that's something to wait for. I finally need to get myself some Bonaparte rep. Quote

KotZ Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 *finally has a moment to read over the current Quests* ...inb4 all the Quests in Heroica resort to PvP. Don't expect it to happen in 110, Benji would dominate, not to mention the fact this party seems terribly unlucky. Quote
Endgame Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I'm guessing some of the Umlimited Quest's changes are "under the hood", so to speak, minus the reveal of new Roaming Monsters? Quote
CMP Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) I'm guessing some of the Umlimited Quest's changes are "under the hood", so to speak, minus the reveal of new Roaming Monsters? The mechanic changes have been edited in. We're adjusting drops and monsters now. Edited August 29, 2014 by CallMePie Quote
Endgame Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 So the new mechanics are the redistributed GP for challenges and Roaming monsters, correct? I'm just trying to make sure I haven't missed anything. Quote

swils Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Pretty sure Thormy's race is a Wizards of Waverly Place reference. Heh, actually it's far simpler (or not, depending). Played some EQOA on PS2 back in the day, my favorite character was my Barbarian Warrior (just ahead of my Troll Shaman DK). Barbarians, as a race, were taller than most other races, so going with a Giant Barbarian was the obvious choice when I started up here. Unfortunately, I didn't have my Hagrid torso here, nor did I feel like making a regular sized fig and just calling it a giant, so... short giant! Quote

Look up Hugh Normous sometime; he's...pretty funny, actually. ... I think I've just set a new record. Is 104 the first standalone Quest in which there have been four different Party Leaders at various times? Quote

Khorne Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) *Heckz gets rejected everytime he flirts with someone* Can I declare Heckz the most charming and smoothest man of Heroica now? Eric still has the "record", I think, of having succesfully seduced 3 female NPC's . Who's the smoothest and most charming now ? Might have a hard time besting Leo Aragon in that department. This. Winning comment right here. Nearly forgot about him! EDIT: Also, Greenhood reminds me a lot of Denethor from LOTR and Balon Greyjoy from GOT, because of the long grey hair, mostly. EDIT 2: WBD, any reason why you didn't sign up for #111? Not that I'm holding it against you, though . Is the reward not high enough, or the pitch enticing or is it just lack of time on your side? Just wanted to know, so I can take your thoughts into consideration when making a pitch and setting a reward next time. Edited August 30, 2014 by Khorne Quote

Palathadric Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Myrddyn, I see you and I hope to see Erik in action soon. Quote
Myrddyn Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Haha, I've got some commitments at the moment, so I don't want to start a quest and not be available enough to finish it, but yeah, I'm still here. Quote
Actaeon Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Actaeon is so unlucky. The only party member to be knocked out, and now the second time to be knocked out. Not to mention wasting deadly poison, a potion, some lucky juice, and constantly being hated by at least one party member at all times. Okay, the last part may be his own fault. :P Quote

Being newly married, schedules and time commitments are in a state of transition, that's all. Things are getting into a routine, but slowly. Quote
