Flare Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I think Costy has that yeti-exclusive bodywear with a higher SP. Fur Coat (SP: 12), if I remember correctly. I think that Nagure's coat was either 12 or 15. So I guess 12. But only two players in the game could actually wear it, while the paladin commander's armor is suitable for many... Quote
StickFig Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 What happened to your username!? I decided I wanted something that made more sense on the forum. Thanks Brickdoctor! I think Costy has that yeti-exclusive bodywear with a higher SP. Fur Coat (SP: 12), if I remember correctly. Yeti Fur Coat (SP:12, immunity to Ice, Fire, Fragile, Blinded, Confused and Asleep; suitable for yetis only, bodywear) I bow to the superior memory of the Brickdoctor. In any case, the point is, there's an SP:10 cleric armor floating around out there. And Matthias is a few levels away from Druid.... Hahahahahahaha fat chance. Quote

I just want to ask why the phrase 'fat chance' means there is little or no chance of it happening, while 'slim chance' also means there is little or no chance of it happening. Surely fat chance should mean its very likely, due to fat being the opposite of slim. Anyway, on topic, what WP do you think a weapon should have before you start upgrading it? Because I've got a grating stone and I don't know if I should use it on my current weapon. Edited September 1, 2014 by Captain Settle Quote

Captain Settle Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I'm willing to sell it as I'm not going to use it for a while. Quote
Flare Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I'm willing to sell it as I'm not going to use it for a while. Alright, but Benji just left on a quest so I couldn't purchase it from you until we're both back at the Hall at the same time. If you get an other offer for it, then don't feel obligated to keep it for me Quote

Fat chance is most often said using a sarcastic tone giving it the same meaning as slim chance even though the actual language is the polar opposite. It's similar to when someone says "I could care less", that phrase is supposed to be said with a sarcastic inflection as what they truly mean is "I couldn't care less". Quote
Zepher Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Already gorgeous and evocative sets, Khrone! Quote
Palathadric Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Who are you and what have you done with the real nstickey!!! Hey, I used to be called Skyrimguy, and I'm considering changing my name again. I used to be palathadric...now I'm Palathadric. What will I pull next? I'm willing to sell it as I'm not going to use it for a while. Not sure if Guts is quite as eager to let his money go since he's not a Raider any longer, but otherwise you could get a very pretty penny from him...very pretty indeed. Quote

Endgame Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 There are now several walls, desks, and palms with an Endgame's-forehead-sized indent in them. Quote
Khorne Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Already gorgeous and evocative sets, Khrone! Let me correct that to 'set', since 2 out of the 3 pictures posted thus far are MOCs from Etzel, whose pictures I borrowed from #16 . But thanks anyway, Zeph! Quote
Duvors Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Is it alright for me to post in the hall topic right now? Quote

Flipz Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) 104-ers, you should consider yourselves lucky I won't be rolling any more dice for you; Quest 100 seems to have completely stolen your dice karma. Edited September 2, 2014 by Flipz Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 If I were a twat I'd create a rival to fabian selling all the good loot I get but do not actually need. Quote
Flipz Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 If I were a twat I'd create a rival to fabian selling all the good loot I get but do not actually need. Would "loot I get but do not actually need" happen to include that clockwork lance? Quote
CMP Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 104-ers, you should consider yourselves lucky I won't be rolling any more dice for you; Quest 100 seems to have completely stolen your dice karma. It's really not a QM's place to assume the players just follow the easiest path you've thought up for them. Particularly when they already have a course of action in place. Quote
Palathadric Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I'm obviously missing something and this is perhaps a stupid question, but why did my Extra Critical Hit change to Steal? The enemy you're fighting is lucky. So you get the worse of the two rolls. Quote
