Asphalt Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 So I am very curious, how will the Halloween quests be run? Are they the same as a standard quest or are they done differently? Quote
Endgame Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 So I am very curious, how will the Halloween quests be run? Are they the same as a standard quest or are they done differently? You'll have to wait and see. Also, congratulations 105ers, you defied The regret and made him really feel it this time around! (You could've pulled a similar stunt by not killing Iris, and The Regret would've been similarly pissed.) Quote
Kintobor Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Hooray for pissing off the lobster monster! Quote
Endgame Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Hooray for pissing off the lobster monster! Yeah, on a scale from 1 to 10, this registers at about "Table Flip". Quote

Flare Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I highly doubt it. Be happy you've hit Level 10+ in a single Quest--it's VERY rare to see happen; as far as I'm aware, Alexandre and I are the only other ones to have done it. Remember, this isn't a race--you've got years to keep advancing, you just need a little patience. Benji did too, I think, and without of medal of glory to help Yea once Benji gets to Level 50 he'd sorta not need the medal anymore, so it'd probably be up for sale for some ridiculous amount of gold, especially with all the immunities I merged into it... Even if there are no Level-related bonuses above 50, increasing Level still represents permanent increases to both Damage dealt and HP and Ether, so it's still a very good choice of accessory above Level 50. Asphalt Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Does anyone have a thread where they post pics of the different incarnations of their game character? Their weapons and accessories and such? Is that something we do or not really? Quote

Their weapons and accessories and such? Is that something we do or not really? I've done it in this thread. Even posted pics of future Hoke(s): http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58807&st=35325#entry1902447 Edited September 23, 2014 by UsernameMDM Quote
Sandy Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 The Fields of Glory are open again! Here's an overview of what has changed: - The Sanctuaries are limited to one rest per party per Sanctuary. Should make grinding the Fields much more of a challenge. - There is going to be a powerful roaming monster hiding somewhere in the Fields. If it is located and defeated, the party will get extra GP and a new title. A new roaming monster will then be released onto the Fields the next time a new party enters it. - Most of the enemies have been updated with a new kind of drop system, where the drop you get depends on a roll of die. The stats have also been readjusted in some cases, some monsters have switched locations, and a whole bunch of new monsters have also been created. There are over 160 different monsters to be encountered in the Fields now. - The challenges have also been somewhat readjusted. - A new prize has been added to be exchanged for Glory Points: 15 GP: Decamodifier (Transforms an enemy with a quarter or less health left into a Decamon card when used, if there is a corresponding card. The monster will not drop anything if it is modified. Tool.) *1 per hero* Hope you will like these changes! The re(in)novation took longer than I expected, but I personally think the Unlimited Quest is now better than ever. Quote
Endgame Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 How loose is the Decamodifier when transofmring enemies? For example, as long as its a golem, it doesn't have to be the golem on the card, right? Quote

We probably won't finish before a new group starts clearing the Fields, but we only have about two fights left...maybe if we all hurry as fast as possible, including Kintobar... Quote
Sandy Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 How loose is the Decamodifier when transofmring enemies? For example, as long as its a golem, it doesn't have to be the golem on the card, right? It is pretty specific. The name of the monster needs to be the roughly the same as the one on the card. Just any golem cannot be modified, but there are cards for a Stone Golem, a Gold(en) Golem and a Flesh Golem. The picture in the card does not matter as much. Say what?! How does this work exactly? You get a monster's health down to 1/4th or less, use the tool on the monster, and if there is a corresponding Decamon card, the monster will transform into it. It will not drop anything else, though. I'm not going to reveal the full list of Decamon cards just yet, so you need to gather info or just work them out by trial and error. You're free to start compiling known cards into the Wiki now. Quote

Say we fight a Greater Vulcan Dragon(name I completely made up.) That would presumably translate to a Fire Dragon(with the assumption of course that Fire Dragon is a viable Decamon card), right? There is no Decamon card for a Fire Dragon, anyway, but nice try. I can give you a hint that most of the monsters on the Decamon cards can be found on the Fields of Glory (not all, though). If the monster is not applicable to be modified, nothing happens. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Me too, but I don't want to miss the halloween quests fighting for glory. Ohh the decisions. But think of the possibilities. No longer would a person with a Decamodifier have to worry about being the last person standing(with the assumption that the monster is down to quarter health/that he can be taken down solo to quarter health). One battle turn, and he is gone. And since Allies automatically revive after battle, you don't need to worry about Phoenix Essences... Quote
Sandy Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 What does having the card do or transforming the monster? You get a Decamon card, of course. The cards can be traded for prizes on certain upcoming quests and events. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I have a feeling this could and will be used as an exploit . Possibly there should be some cost of using the tool? Like 1/4 of the user's total health? Quote
