K-Nut Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Chosen Heroes for Quest #115: Warlen Melimane (The Chosen Minifigure) Francis Barkely (Captain Settle) Zunde Xravia (Da Smash Bro) Captain Settle is already on Quest #114, Endgame. Quote
Endgame Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Worst part is, I nearly "picked" Kiray too, and she's on the same quest. Quote
KotZ Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Worst part is, I nearly "picked" Kiray too, and she's on the same quest. Guess she's in high demand now Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 So is Elphaba just not showing up anymore? Quote
Flipz Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 So is Elphaba just not showing up anymore? I wouldn't after how the Quest 100 Heroes treated her. Quote
Zepher Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I'll be posting side-quests from 107 later today, hopefully. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) I wouldn't after how the Quest 100 Heroes treated her. I usually don't read quests, but I guess I should read this one. Shame I didn't sign up for it! - NVM! Zepher was trying to kill Hoke at the time. Edited October 8, 2014 by UsernameMDM Quote
Zepher Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I've tried it before and I'll try it again! Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 "Lind whisperer?" I once knew of a shamen the villagers in his valley called the "sheep whisperer." I would not repeat the accounts of his rumored exploits amid mixed company. Though, I admit I know not what a "Lind" might be. I imagine it roughly meaning "He who whispers with trees." The name Lind kind of reminded me of the linden tree, and it seemed to work. It also meshes well with the whole "I wander here from the Forest of the Blue Pools". Just for general reminder/reference, he's average human height, not short. Munchkin* is where he's from, not his species. *Munchkin - Munch(Of Muncie)kin(Child) - or, in better English, Child of Muncie, referencing their former village, which was torched during the Orc Wars. UsernameMDM Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I've tried it before and I'll try it again! Hoke - 3, QM Zepher - 0! :P Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Practice makes perfect! Challenge accepted! Have you ever KO'd Hoke? If Atramor can't, NOBODY CAN!!! Edited October 9, 2014 by UsernameMDM Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Have you ever KO'd Hoke? If Atramor can't, NOBODY CAN!!! You should definitely sign up for the third quest in my little planned trio. You want to challenge death? You'll be lucky if you can survive the coat closet*! *You know, I should think about having the first battle in a coat closet...I like it. Edited October 9, 2014 by Lind Whisperer Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) Careful now! Hoke has vanquished a diabolical floor. Not bad. But, let's just say, there's a reason why the quest is rated level 40+ only. And there's a reason why little small print will read "Heroes are expected to fail this quest early on. Even the most experienced should expect to be K'Od by the time they have completed 25.31415926...% of the test." Of course, if you really want to prove that you're an ultimate warrior, you'll be welcome to try to beat the odds...Just keep in mind, there may be a little limit on how many times you can be K'O in battle before you (as an individual, not the whole group) are removed from the trial*... *It'll all make sense, in time... The Legonater Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Big talk. I think if Heroica has proven anything, it's that Heroes will fight their way through anything. It doesn't matter if they're going up against a goddess with the odds seemingly stacked against them, they will figure out something you didn't plan. Like blowing up most of the party to do significant damage. Also, I feel that a quest shouldn't be designed specifically to make the Heroes fail, it should be designed to move forward a plot of some kind. If Heroes want to grind in battles, they can go to the Fields. Quote

CMP Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Have you ever KO'd Hoke? If Atramor can't, NOBODY CAN!!! Entirely possible. Atramor's probably defeated the most heroes out of any person or enemy in Heroica history. Quote
Flipz Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Entirely possible. Atramor's probably defeated the most heroes out of any person or enemy in Heroica history. If you believe his rhetoric, The Regret has beaten more Heroes than Atramor has...by taking credit for his minions getting their megablocks handed to them by the Heroes they fight...which is apparently beating the Heroes...somehow. Normally I'd take credit for that, but there were a lot of explosions in Quest 53 and I hate to admit it but I don't think all of them were my fault. I ought to go reread that quest... Quote

In all seriousness, though, I'd love to hear your thoughts on if Arthur's improved as a character since then. Edited October 9, 2014 by Flipz Quote
