My finale is still a ways off - I have two quests to host before then, and with my life style right now they might not roll out quite as quickly. :sceptic: I'm hoping to do at least one in the spring.

But, that being said, one of those two quests will be going to Dastan! JimBee and Flipz and Khrone have gotten the chance to revisit my favorite continent, I think it's only fair I take another crack at it soon.

Same for my Dragon as well. I'm not leaving the Hall again until either Zepher's finale or a Quest offering Winged Warrior (and I'm more inclined to wait for the former than the latter).

You might be waiting a looooong time then.:wink: Probably better to go along for the ride until one of those pops up, but that's just me.

Also, cool post in the Training Room, MDM. It was a nice bit of roleplaying for Hoke, a character who doesn't usually become so pronounced in that way (at least from what I've seen). I wonder about being able to switch from Dragoon like that though - I know it's been discussed and there's no rule against it, but it seems to kind of defeat the purpose of having the leveling-up rule for Dragoons in the first place.

Thinking of which that makes me wonder. The dragons size depends on the owners level, but each Dragoon gets an egg that hatches when they first become one. So say a level 70 character becomes a Dragoon for the first time they pick up an egg. Does this hatch and immediantly spawn an adult dragon? That's one heck of a growth spurt. So yeah, don't hatch one of those in the middle of town, unless that's your plan. (Get it? Hatching a plan.....yeah that was so bad I'll leave for another few months again :look:).

That's fine--I'm not really interested in Questing for a looooong while anyway. To tell the truth, I'm sort of put off of playing the game as a player right now, so it's better for me to shift my focus back to QM-ing anyway.

Thanks! I stayed ip waaay to late typing that up. I role-played why I did what I did, with Hoke & Torc getting to know each othet. Like a horse, you can't just up and ride. The horse has to grow & be trained. At least that's how I will play it.

Arthur will get one soon. Just guess not a lot of Shadeaux rep to be had so far.

Preach!

Actually, though, it's been getting better for Shadeaux recently...and worse for all the other Houses.

I was going to host a Bonaparte quest... until CMP basically took the idea I had and used it for the Halloween Anthology. I do have a Ji Pei quest planned too... but Sandy's going to Xu shortly so no need to pitch it when he's going there.

Well its a bit hard to throw in rep unless its really not connected to the actual families, cause Sandy's got tight wraps on them :def_shrug:

 Few of my (eight...ish?) reputation opportunities ever have much to do with the direct family.

Yeah, I managed to throw in Guild rep in my first quest, #42, with an indirect member of the Guild, and my other quest was revolving around the Ziegfried kids, I guess I was lucky to be granted privilege to them, haha.

The first Duplovia quest had Bonaparte rep at one point, despite not even taking place on Uland. It's just a matter of being a little creative.

When is the Zepher finale? I DO NOT WANT TO MISS THAT!!! Got tooooo much time invested to miss that.

Agreed. I'm definitely jumping on the finale when it comes up.

We could have received Bonaparte rep in 88, but Zepher's NPC gypped us. Still think that was not cool... :hmpf_bad:

That was my NPC. And actually it was hilarious.

I thought you were a Ji Pei enthusiast, your gems make you far better suited for a Chi Monk setup than a Cannoneer one.

Stab stab stab! Stab you on the interwebs!

I am, but I like to think I could get rep when I earn it.

No, the point is that if you first become a Dragoon beyond Level 39, you will get an already hatched and grown dragon as your pet - and the more it has grown before it becomes your pet, the more it distrusts you (ie. the bigger chance for the Shield-skill has to fail).

Fair enough, guess that's me misunderstanding because that makes a whole lot more sense. (Still think hatching a fully grown dragon immediately is hilarious.)

Can someone photoshop me a brown Norbert/baby dragon?

I think this should take care of what you need for the moment, but you might want to get a different image eventually since the original was from Bricklink.
