Endgame Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Actually, Guts and Masson look identical, except for the hair... Well, they did, before The Regret messed with Masson's circulation and made him really pale. And Masson would never toss Karie off a boat. Although judging Karie's recent pregnancy, maybe "tossed around" woud be more accurate for Masson. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Guts has a wild past, who knows how many bastards he has walking around? Quote
Endgame Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 But Masson's father has been estabished to be Royce Cour, not Guts Holla. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 There really isn't much of a demand for Ella's Pie, is there? I mean, granted, I myself am not going to use it, but I'm not an Ether-user anymore; I'm a little surprised no one's shown even the slightest interest in it. (Maybe someone with Lichen armor, since then the health hit doesn't hurt so much?) Having extra HP is just so much more useful than extra Ether. Even as a healer, more HP means not having to spend a turn trying to convert Ether into HP. Unless you're a pure support spell and scroll caster (which is not a bad thing, just very specific and perhaps not as fun to play in some situations), I would definitely prefer to keep the HP rather than get more Ether. [snip][snip] Incompetent Watchman by day, badass Alchemist by night. That just looks more like a badass Alchemist forced to wear a wig and a dress uniform on a hot day. Quote
JimBee Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 So far, everything in Quest 111 has been fitting in exactly with what we imagined for Dastan. The architecture, the people, the beliefs and attitudes, even the minifigure appearances, have all been lining up with what we established in the Dastan trilogy and beyond. And not only are you following along with those things, Khorne, but also enriching Dastan with your own ideas. I know people like to save their comments for after the quest, but I wanted to offer my compliments now because I'm really enjoying following this quest. Well done. Quote
Palathadric Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Yes, it's been really well done thus far. I also really would like to see something along the story lines of Quest #45. It was really a great quest before it stopped. Quote

These are basically my thoughts on it too. I like to be an Ether tank with all the ether Undead attacks suck up, but I don't feel like sacrificing that much HP for it. Pff, that's what he thinks. Please, the whole Karie-Violetta-Sorrow family tree is messy as is. Don't make it any worse! Quote
Endgame Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Pff, that's what he thinks. Actually, Royce has the same face as Guts/Masson, so maybe Guts is Masson's uncle. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I think I'm slipping into a hiatus from Eurobricks as compared to my normal activity (Although this may just be due to my addiction to Counter-Strike ) so I won't be on much over the next few weeks (Don't worry Flipz, those sets for #118 will be done soon ) Quote
Comrade Commander Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Yes, please finish #106 before leaving. I think we would prefer to get back to the hall sooner rather than later... Quote

Myrddyn Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 You are hosting a quest... Yes, please finish #106 before leaving. I think we would prefer to get back to the hall sooner rather than later... He's also on a Mafia... But I think he's waiting for input from Lordofthenoobs and Legospy to run the round in #106 anyway. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Why do my quest mates plot against me?! >Benji vs. Python - Special Dodge (Redirected to Hoke, Bleeding 30, Hoke Immune to Fragile) Hoke - Bleeding (30 Damage, Hoke KO'd) Hoke almost finishes off the Griffon as Althior seals up the hole in the wall preventing any more creatures within from escaping. The python flings itself at Benji, but expecting the reptiles charge, the beast warrior flings himself out of harms way. Unfortunately the snake lands right on Hoke crushing his armor into his chest. Bleeding heavily, Hoke tries to fend off the unicorn and one of the slip dogs but the strain proves too much for the mystic knight and he crumples unconscious from loss of blood. Quote

Oh yes, yes of course! I'mnot going to run away on 106, don't worry . I just don't intend to go on any quests myself in the mean time. Quote

I know people like to save their comments for after the quest, but I wanted to offer my compliments now because I'm really enjoying following this quest. Well done. Thanks! I have some pictures from the Dastanese quests saved to my computer, which I use as a reference when building backdrops. I also read the Wiki page on Dastan and the quests several times, to get an idea of how Dastan is. Yes, it's been really well done thus far. I also really would like to see something along the story lines of Quest #45. It was really a great quest before it stopped. I had actually planned some "quirky" enemies like the Minotaurs from #45, but the heroes decided to go with the Hinckwell boat. If they had picked the Viking, the party would've run into a gang of were-dog thieves called "Brandon and the 99 Bitches" . Which is funny, 'cause they are female were-dogs (and totally gansta!) . Agreed. I'm a sucker for identifying a culture like this if Quest 89 didn't make that evident enough, I love what Khorne's doing with Dastan here. Thanks, Pie . Quote
Flipz Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Your attention please! Due to unexpected circumstances, Pyro won't be able to finish the sets for 118 in time. I am, therefore, in urgent need of set-building assistance; Pyro has completed about half of the sets already, but there are still a bit more than a dozen to go, including a few that may appear early on in the Quest. If anyone is able to help me build what I need, please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Dude. Its ROGUE. Not ROUGE. You don't mean rouge, trust me, or read a dictionary... Sorry, I have spell check turned off on my iPod... Wait, you gotta gimme some credit for spelling it right one of the 2 times! Quote
Palathadric Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) Dude. Its ROGUE. Not ROUGE. You don't mean rouge, trust me, or read a dictionary... We've had enough teenage male rouges around to debate that. ...and did I just forget to put "human" in there. Man, I'm growing rusty. I think we need a new influx. Endgame Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Wow, today marks 2 years since 48 was started. Quote
